So ends another season at Guilsfield & Llandrinio Cricket Club 🏏

It may have been a summer of mixed fortunes on the field, but more importantly we’ve had fun and enjoyed ourselves over the last few months 🫶🏻

Thank you to everybody who’s played, sponsored and supported the club in any way this year - it’s been hugely appreciated and none of this could have happened without you. You are all stars 🤩

We’re not quite ready to sign out for the year - end of season renovations are taking place down at the ground today, and of course we will be celebrating the year at the end of season presentation evening on Friday October 9th - we will see everybody there! 🎉

Our 1st XI end their season with a visit to Albrighton Cricket Club - this match is due to be live streamed, we’ll share more details with you once we have them tomorrow 🤩

To close their season, our 2nd XI host St Georges 3rd XI at The LHG Oval. A big thank you to this week’s match sponsor The Kings Head Guilsfield and ball sponsor Phil Edwards. We are beyond grateful to each and every sponsor this season - you’ve enabled us to host a home match every Saturday over a 22-week period, thank you so much for your generosity 🫶🏻

So for one last time this year, we’d like to extend a very warm welcome to all our supporters to come down to join us tomorrow at the game ⛅️

And that’s a wrap for the first summer of women’s and girls’ training at the club! 🫶🏻

We’ve surpassed all our expectations - more than 30 women and girls have joined us for our Wednesday night softball sessions since the start of June, which is far more than we could have ever dreamed of when we launched! 🤩 We’ve had great fun at the weekly training nights, as well as taking part in fixtures against other local clubs.

We will be back in summer 2027 to do it all over again - in the meantime we’ll see everybody at our end of season presentation evening on Friday October 9th to celebrate what we’ve achieved this year🏆🏏
