Great job today at a corporate event for Bond Dickinson - checking bikes for 25 riders lucky enough to be doing a challenging looking route up to Masham. Better than a day at the office!

TdY Sportive on Sunday was a fantastic day out - especially enjoyed the atmosphere on the race route. A 6 hour ride mostly in pouring rain, in the company of 6000 mostly nervous descenders did however seem to spell the end for my brake pads! Where did they go?

Severe bike envy dismantling Richmond Denton's Legend 9.5. Handbuilt to custom dimensions in carbon in Italy by Cistercian monks (okay the last bit's not true). He sold the frame, but the incoming replacement sounds not too shabby either. More on that at a later date....

Well it's been very busy the last couple of weeks as people get their bikes ready for various events, and the full diversity of bikes and riders has been apparent.
Tim Dryden is off to the Tour of Flanders to take on the fearsome cobbled climbs. I've made sure his bike is shipshape, put some fatter tyres on and double bar tape. He can at least suffer in comfort.
At the other end of the spectrum, one of my smallest customers needed new brakes and a spot of tuning to give her a fighting chance of keeping up with big sis.

Well look at that, it's nearly Easter!
What could be better over the holidays than to get the kids out on their bikes? I don't just do adults bikes, I do small ones too.
I can service 2 kids bikes for the price of one adult one, so that means I can do whole family fleets at excellent rates.
Here's a photo of how it could look:

The end of winter is a good time to check how your bike has survived the salty roads. I hope it's done better than this! The new bottom bracket was one of several things I fitted for this customer.
