Come and meet the club, see the equipment in action, and chat with us over a cuppa. Pop down and see what we are all about at the SSCD Open Day. Whether you are curious about getting started or just want a proper look at the kit in action, you are welcome to join us on the slope.
You can enjoy a friendly chat with the club team, watch live demonstrations of the equipment, and ask any questions you have.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available to keep everyone going.

Bring the family along and see how we do things. No need to book, just turn up on the day.

Cold hands? Rainy day? Watching the kids ski while questioning your life choices? We’ve got you covered. 😂

Our Ski Lodge serves **Costa Coffee**, with plenty of hot drinks to keep skiers, snowboarders, tubers and spectators warm throughout their visit.

⛷️ Adaptive Ski Show & Tell

Come along and join us for our Adaptive Ski Show & Tell, running from 12:00–15:00.

A chance to come and have a look at adaptive skiing, see the equipment we use, find out how it all works and chat to the team about the opportunities available.

Whether you’re interested for yourself, a family member, someone you support, or you’re simply curious to find out more, you’re very welcome to come along.

🎿 WHAT TO WEAR ON THE SLOPES 🏂

Whether you’re joining us for skiing, snowboarding or tubing, wearing the right clothing will help keep you comfortable and protected on the slope.

👕 Long sleeves – arms must be fully covered
👖 Full-length trousers – legs must be fully covered
🧤 Gloves – essential for all slope activities
🧦 Socks – ideally mid-calf or longer, especially when wearing ski or snowboard boots
🌧️ Dress for the weather – layers and waterproof clothing are always a good idea on colder or wetter days

⚠️ Please note: Tights or leggings must not be worn on their own. They can be worn underneath suitable full-length trousers.

🎿 Skiing & Snowboarding
Skis/snowboards, boots and helmets are provided as part of your session.

🛷 Tubing
No specialist equipment is needed – just make sure arms and legs are fully covered and gloves are worn.

🌦️ And remember – we are an outdoor slope!
Sessions run in all weather conditions, including rain, so please come dressed appropriately for the forecast.

A change of clothes is always a good idea – particularly on wet days!
