🌹 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY – HAILSHAM ROSES 2027 🌹

The Hailsham Roses are looking for a new front-of-training-shirt sponsor ahead of the 2027 season, following the unfortunate closure of our existing sponsor.

We’ll be purchasing 25 new training tops for our women and girls, giving one local business the chance to put its name behind one of Hailsham’s leading female sporting teams, competing in Sussex Premier League cricket.

Our training tops get plenty of exposure throughout the season:

🏏 Worn for arrival and warm-ups across all 24 matches

🏏 U10 COUNTY FINALS DAY – WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 💙💛

After qualifying for the County Finals at Arundel on Sunday, our brilliant U10s did Hailsham Cricket Club proud, winning two of their four matches against some of the very best young cricketers in Sussex.

On a beautiful late-summer day, with an incredibly high standard of cricket on show, the team rose to the occasion superbly. The skill, determination, teamwork and confidence they displayed throughout the day was fantastic to see and showed just how far this group has come.

Even more excitingly, six members of the squad are still eligible to play U10 cricket again next season, which says everything about how bright the future is for junior cricket at Hailsham.

A massive thank you to all the parents for the countless taxi journeys throughout the summer and, most importantly, for the endless encouragement and support from the sidelines.

A special mention must also go to Gareth and Simon. Their leadership, knowledge, enthusiasm and constant encouragement have played a huge part in the development of this group. The progress the players have made this season is a real credit to them both.

And finally, a huge thank you to Sussex Cricket Foundation for putting on such a fantastic Finals Day. We absolutely loved being part of it and it was a brilliant experience for all of our young players. 👏

What a way to finish an outstanding summer of junior cricket.

Winter well, everyone — but keep those bats and balls close! Make use of the training facility whenever the weather allows and keep those skills ticking over.

Don’t let it be six months before you pick up a bat or bowl a ball again!

As the 2026 season comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to publicly thank the many people who give their time, energy and commitment to help Hailsham Cricket Club run and develop throughout the year.

A huge thank you to our grounds team, who spend countless hours working behind the scenes to produce the fantastic wickets and facilities we are fortunate enough to play on. This season has been particularly challenging with the lack of rain, making their efforts and dedication even more appreciated.

Thank you also to our brilliant bar team. As a volunteer-run bar, the time and service they provide on matchdays and throughout the season plays a huge part in making Western Road such a welcoming and well-used venue within the town.

Finally, a massive thank you to our committee members and captains. So much work goes on behind the scenes to keep the club running smoothly, deal with everything that arises during the season and continue pushing the club forward. It takes a huge amount of time and commitment throughout the year, much of which goes unseen.
