“We enrolled our daughter at step2it when she was just 4 years old. She was incredibly shy, wouldn’t smile and happily took herself off to the back of the room. We couldn’t have imagined back then the beautiful transformation she had made over the last 9 years. She is now 13 and dancing is her life.

Watching our once painfully shy little girl command the stage for her own solos is truly magical and in the most recent step2it show she absolutely shone! Her wonderful teachers Lucy and Sarah have been the heart and sole of her journey. They didn’t just teach her to dance they truly believed in her. They knew exactly how to push her gently at her own pace, inviting her to train with some older girls to challenge her whilst always ensuring she felt supported. Most recently making her biggest dream come true by helping her get on pointe.

Watching her blossom has been amazing to watch. We are endlessly grateful to Lucy, Sarah all the supportive parents and dancers for boosting her confidence and giving our girl a place to shine.”

“I have been a member of Step 2 It for 10 years now, and my time there has been nothing short of incredible. It is not only a school where people of all ages can learn a variety of dance styles and develop their confidence, strength and flexibility, but it is also a home.

Throughout my time at Step 2 It, I have made friends for life and been part of experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. It has given me countless opportunities to grow, learn and discover more about myself and life. Dancing here has taught me so many valuable life lessons, including determination, hard work, responsibility and, most importantly, the importance of teamwork.

My daughter has been there for 9 years, with careful quiet support and care she has blossomed into a strong, independent dancer. Whether it is competing or supporting from the wings the sense of family is extremely strong.
You can achieve a great deal by dancing, step 2 it creates a fun and safe environment for all levels and experience. I would 100% promote this school as the opportunity’s are endless, to make new friends, find a new sense of belonging and just a place to have fun.
