HTFC 1-1 SYL Fc

We welcomed SYL to Halesowen town today, we knew they were going to be a strong opposition again for the lads.
The lads have had some tough games over the last few weeks and some losses that have been tough to swallow however, credit to the lads today they came back out and battled well and saw the first half out 1 nil.
Second half we played with both our strikers out and the game went 1-1, the game could have gone either way with both teams hitting the post however, the game played out and we came away with a draw.
Was nice to have Ben aka Bulldog back after 7 weeks out and will be nice to have Travis back next week.

HTFC 5-0 FC Hanley

Today we hosted FC Hanley, game started off with a very fast tempo, credit to Hanley who set the high tempo in the first 20 minutes where we saw ourselves under a lot of pressure at times.😊
Halesowen boys rode the storm and stayed patient and with a bit of quality and against the run of play saw ourselves 1 nil up. ⚽️
From that point Halesowen boys just went through the gears and kept stepping it up against a very strong, physical Hanley.👍🏻

Unfortunatley we saw ourselves go down to 10 men and it called upon the players to show personality, courage and discipline and that was shown in abundance across the team and still managed to apply pressure at times and ride the storm at others.
Credit to everyone of the lads today, we turned up with only 2 subs (went down to 1) but the lads shown a high level of maturity and experience, which saw the boys come away with a comfortable 5-0 win.👏

Oldbury 2 - 4 HTFC

Today we were hosted by Oldbury, first 20 minutes the Halesowen boys were cruising with a lot of possession and saw themselves 2 nil up, unfortunately the lads got complacent and allowed Oldbury to get back into the game and gain confidence 👍🏻

Credit to Oldbury they gave us a tough game and didn't take their foot off the gas however, the Halesowen lads were not giving it away today and came away with a 4-2 win. ⚽️

Massive credit to our lads today with only 1 sub, the boys dug in and got 80 minutes under their belt. 💪🏼
