Parents of children doing their GCSE exams, please read.....

It's a stressful enough time for kids with the pressure of exams and expectations, please don't make it even harder for them by forcing them to stop doing every thing that they enjoy outside of school.

Don't take them out of their gym/martial arts/boxing/football/dance/gymnastics clubs so they can "focus on their exams and revision".

Allowing your kids the few hours a week to continue to do something they enjoy, something that's healthy, something that gives them a rest from the pressure is absolutely vital for them to succeed not only in their exams, but also in life.

It also teaches them the importance of working on/taking time for themselves during stressful times which will 100% come in useful in later life.

Besides, you all know that GCSE's aren't anyway near as important or life/career defining as the schools and government make out that they are! Just go and speak to any of your "successful" friends and ask them how they did in their GSCE's if you're unsure.

Allow your children to continue to do what they enjoy and I can promise you, their results will not be affected negatively! If anything, it will improve their overall grades 🙏🥊
