🎱🔥 What a day at Roxy Pool & Sports Club! 🔥🎱

First of all, a massive congratulations to our two finalists, Emma Senior and Anthony Fud Earnshaw. Both played absolutely outstanding all day and fully deserved their place in the final! 👏🎱

But there could only be one winner… 🏆

Massive congratulations to Anthony Earnshaw for taking the win and walking away with the £400 first prize! 💷🥇

It wasn’t just the winner getting paid either! The remaining £400 of the £800 prize pot was paid out between 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, so there was plenty to play for right until the end! 💰

Today’s competition was our first ever £50 per person, 16-player single-elimination competition, creating a massive £800 prize pot! 🔥💷

A massive shout-out as well to Colin Maguire, a proud member of the club who helps out massively at Roxy. This competition was hosted and put together through Colin and Roxy Pool & Sports Club, and we’re buzzing with how well it went! 👏

And just because you got knocked out of the main competition, it didn’t mean the pool was over! 😎

At 1:30pm, we kicked off a Killer Pool side competition, with 18 players getting involved and creating a £90 prize pot! A lot of the members jumped in, and it was another great little competition alongside the main event.

And who ended up winning it? None other than Colin Maguire himself! 😂🏆💷

The response to this first competition has been absolutely brilliant, so we’re definitely looking to build on it.

Going forward, the plan is to run these competitions every Saturday morning, with different categories each week throughout the month. For example, one Saturday could be Category 5/6, the next could be Category 3/4, and then another week could be Category 1/2. This way, everyone gets a fair crack at competing against players around their own level and has a proper chance of taking home some money! 🎱💰

And for anyone who gets knocked out of the main competition, there’ll still be the chance to get involved in the 1:30pm Killer Pool competition and keep the day going! 👌🎱

Massive thanks to everybody who entered and took part today. The support and atmosphere were spot on from start to finish!

Keep your eyes peeled for the next one… because if today was anything to go by, it’s going to be another belter! 🔥🎱

Ethan Egerton Sharp was victorious over at Roxys this evening in Sowerby Bridge. He was joined in the final by Craig Nelmes when the final game went down to a last leg decider.
