My confidence & outlook on life comes not from how I look but by how I continually remember where I’ve been, who I am & what I represent. That in turn helps me interact with this beautiful World🤗. Well 2021 you were one hell of a rollercoaster!!🤣 As I contemplate life & the year that is nearly at an end, in my garden with my Christmas slippers🤣 I would like to say a few things. FirstIy I want to say Happy New Year to absolutely everyone. Secondly thank you to each & every client I had the pleasure to train over the last few months (can’t say year as we were locked away for months). Lastly a huge thank you to for giving me the opportunity to run my Personal Training business out of .ie in Lisavaird. You gave me the opportunity & I ran with it🤗❤️. I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions. I do have goals & targets that I want to hit in the coming year on a personal, professional & physical level however. I do have targets & milestones for each & every client of mine & the sense of accomplishment I get from seeing each & every one of you hit that target or that goal is golden. Embrace that for the New Year as unfortunately there are so many things out there at the moment that want to wear you down. Once again wishing everyone a happy & healthy New Year. Your continued support is always greatly appreciated.

I officially started my Personal Training business on the 7th of June 2021. After going through numerous Lockdowns, I was offered by to train my clients out of in Lisavaird. Yes I was working there full time previously but to be offered that opportunity meant the world. Always a pleasure to see here in the gym. All I can say is he is an absolute gent of a man who just enjoys life for what it is & enjoys his training. All the very best in your future projects & wishing you many happy years ahead from everyone here at the gym. P.s He has very kindly offered to be my stunt double in the movie about my life as thankfully we are roughly the same physical size🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Challenge yourself to become the best version of you that you can be. Not just from a physical standpoint but on so many levels. Training is just one aspect of your life that you can use. Find YOUR reason to train & live a balanced happy lifestyle. Your outlook on life, your relationships, your personal & professional life can all change but it is down to you. For me I train as it’s something in the day that i do that is just for me. It’s an hour in the day to work on myself for myself. It keeps me in a routine & keeps every other aspect of my life in schedule. Once again I had a busy week with my clients & to see everyone embracing the training as they are makes my job so enjoyable. Thank you!!😃💪. Have a great weekend everyone☀️

Over 2 months since all gyms & Leisure Facilities could open after the last Lockdown & time has flown past. Since re-opening what I’ve found myself is how much of an important role exercise guidance is & having someone to teach you, train you, have the ability to answer you with questions you might have. It is extremely tough & daunting to make the decision to start using a gym for some. This is where a gym staff member or Personal Trainer comes in. Ask questions, get guidance, book that gym assessment, book that Personal Training session. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Weight, measurements etc are what people tend to focus on. Start changing your thought process & start thinking about the improvements:
- Your energy levels
- Your sleep patterns
- Your outlook on life
-Reduction in stress
-Mental health benefits
Embrace it, challenge yourself, see & feel the difference in yourself once you get started & go from there😃👌

On the 7th of June we can get back to our workouts in gyms. Here are a few tips to be mindful of:
1. Have a plan
-It’s really important to know what you’re workout is going to be before you enter the gym. Otherwise sometimes people just go through the motions & familiarity kicks in leaving you not enjoying your workout in the long term. If ever you’re looking for some guidance always ask a qualified staff member for a plan to follow or book a Personal Training session to get you started.
2. Don’t rush straight back into the workout you were doing pre Lockdown
-Start off gradually & build towards your target as opposed to rushing straight back in saying to yourself that you have to get the muscle back or lose the weight as fast as you can.
3. Get familiar again with the gym
-Make your playlist, put on your headphones, have your plan & most importantly enjoy it. Respect the environment you’re in. Some people love to chat during workouts, some don’t. Some people love to look at themselves & again some don’t. Everyone in every gym is in there for their own reasons & a friendly chilled environment is key.
4. Everyone missed their gyms & likewise the gyms missed everyone❤️

Welcome to Christmas Eve 2020...it’s been a strange & tough year that’s for certain.
