We had a fantastic time at the KirCCA awards last year, with 4 finalists from CSS, hopefully we will get some nominations this year too 🤞

Kirklees and Calderdale Care Awards 2026 - Help us recognise outstanding care staff:

Thank you to those of you who have already taken the time to submit a nomination for the KirCCA Care Awards 2026, we really appreciate your support.

We are currently looking for more nominations in the following categories:

• End of life Care
• Registered Manager (Community) Calderdale
• Team Leader (Care Home) Calderdale/Kirklees
• Team Leader (Community) Kirklees
• Care Worker (Community) Kirklees
• Care Worker (Care Home) Kirklees
• Nursing Professional

Every day, individuals across adult social care go above and beyond to support people in Kirklees and Calderdale, and we want to make sure every area of the workforce is recognised.

If you know someone who deserves recognition in one of these categories, please take a few minutes to nominate them before the deadline on 10th July 2026.

Please also encourage colleagues across your organisation to get involved. The strongest nominations are those that include clear examples of the nominee’s impact and achievements.

All finalists receive a complimentary ticket to the awards ceremony for themselves and a guest, including a three-course meal and entertainment, with prizes presented on the night.

Thank you again for helping us recognise and celebrate the incredible achievements of the adult social care workforce in our area.

Today is national cheese day! At the Addy we celebrated by making our own ricotta cheese and trying a selection of cheese, crackers and chutneys!

This afternoon CSS had the pleasure of going down to limitless to have a brew and cake. They even put on a show and did a fantastic job in signing along to a few songs they have been learning. We all had a wonderful time, thank you for the invite Limitless Day Service
