The first team travel to Triangle looking to bounce back from last weeks defeat.

The seconds are at home to Blackley looking to continue there impressive start to the season.

It is with great sadness that we remember Mike Smith, a valued member and friend of our cricket club.

Mike was was an important part of our club community. Generous, supportive, and always willing to help, he made a positive difference to everyone who knew him. His kindness, friendship, and good nature will be greatly missed.

Mike’s sudden passing has come as a shock to us all. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for everything he gave to our club.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Mike. You will not be forgotten.

As a mark of respect all SNHTCC teams will wear black armbands and take part in a minutes silence in Mikes memory

The first team lost at home to Illingworth by 6 wickets. On a wet day we were stuck in and scored 88, Sam Dimbleby top scoring with 43. With the ball Zafar Khan took 3/20 as we ended the match with 1 point.

The second team travelled to Triangle scoring a very respectable 218/7 the top scorers coming from Tait Coles and Liam Dimbleby as they both scored 74. Liam back that up with 3/50 with the ball along with 4/42 from Hari Feraz as we took the 12 points in a great victory

Last weekends results

The first team returned to winning ways in convincing fashion, batting first scoring 261 with 4 batters contributing 40+ scores. With the ball Aayan Khan(3/20)took 2 wickets with the first 2 balls to send us on our way, backed up by Sam Dimbleby(2/33) and Ryan Allen(3/29).

The second team lost to league leaders Illingworth on Saturday but put up a valiant effort with Mohammed Zubair scoring 85 with some powerful lower order hitting. Illingworth chased down the 178 with 3 wickets lost.

On Sunday the seconds returned to cup action with a great win at home to SBCI, this time Hari Feraz with the standout performance of 68 runs and figures of 3/38 backed up by CD (3/15). We have drawn Illingworth in the next round.

Unfortunately a depleted Sundays went down away at Greetland.
