No access to Halifax track 11th-15th March

We have been informed that due to major roadworks and site works, access to the track will NOT be possible from 8:00 Monday 11th March until 17:00 on Friday 15th March.

Message for all Halifax Track members

A further update on the latest COVID-19 measures at Halifax Track was emailed to all Club members on Monday 30th November. Please check your emails for the update. If you have difficulty locating it, then check your spam folders just in case.

COVID-19 UPDATE 03/11/2020

Following the Government’s announcement of a national lockdown, the BRCA has issued a directive on racing activities:

“From Thursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December all RC Racing indoors and out must stop as part of the UK Lockdown, this includes ‘practice’ and any other track use – the only exception being essential maintenance of the facility.”

During this period, Halifax track will be closed and, as such, the forthcoming club day planned for 15 November and all practice sessions are cancelled.

These restrictions mean that we will not be able to hold a Club AGM this year (usually held in November).

We will update you once further announcements are made.

COVID-19 UPDATE 01/06/2020

The track is currently open to members only, for pre-booked practice. Racing is not available at this time. Three practice sessions are available each day with a maximum of six people attending each session. Session allocation is controlled by a committee member and all current members have been notified of the booking procedure and its conditions of use. NO DAY passes will be issued. SORRY.

The facilities have been updated in line with the Governments guidance regarding COVID-19. Signage and physical barriers have been provided and social distancing is to be practiced at all times.

As a committee we are constantly monitoring the situation through our regular meetings and will make changes to the above as and when we are able.
