A big well done to students from Shugyou karate who came back from the AMA National Championships with five silver medals and one bronze medal long day some great fights, still lots to learn we push forward as a team and a club

Getting back to normal it's great seeing the students back from Christmas break two sessions of karate tonight

Dojo looking nice and fresh after a full paint job, cladding fitted and now border shelf more room to place drinks and mits around the dojo, extra heating and extra dehumidifier should make it a more pleasant and comfortable dojo for all students throughout the year

We have had a busy fortnight off upgrading parts of the dojo with fresh paint on the walls cladding around the bottom 3rd of the dojo, new shoe racks new dehumidifier new heater for the reception still a few bits to finish off but all worth it.
We return to training on Saturday 3rd of January and we welcome all students back including any new starters that would like to join a traditional shotokan karate club just give us a call, txt private message
