Yesterday Braintree Bowmen hosted their UK record status Double 720 event. The conditions were unpredictable...we had cloud, gusts, rain and blazing sun.

Thank you to everyone that attended and made it an enjoyable event. Thanks to the tournament team who dedicate a lot of hours making sure the range is ready, score cards are printed and refreshments are available.

She only went and achieved her Gold Progress Award.
A year ago Karen tried archery for the first time at the Countess of Warwick show and today she achieved her Gold Progress Award.
Karen has been regularly practising at the range and is a hot contender for being in the final for our indoor club competition FITA Face Off.

Lovely energy at Braintree Bowmen today. Lots of members enjoying the dry conditions, some new interested people for our Taster Sessions, thanks coaches, and some decent shooting at 125m for our clout member....right in the post!

Looking forward to bank holiday shooting tomorrow too.
