🎣 RIGHT, ANGLERS… BE HONEST! 😂

I’m a fishery owner, not an angler… although my fishing education is very much a work in progress! 🎣😂

I’m usually pretty good at healthy eating — plenty of protein and counting the carbs… 😇

BUT… put me at Hilton and suddenly I develop a serious weakness! 🤣

Huge congratulations to Chris Hay on an absolutely cracking first visit to Hilton Valley! 👏🏻👏🏻

His session started with a smashing Tench, then …

Chris has had a very special A Team Legend — Coffee Bean — at just under 36lb! 🤩🐟

And what makes this one extra special… Coffee Bean was our lake record at 39lb pre-spawning, so it’s fantastic to see this beautiful fish putting the weight back on and heading in the right direction. 💪🏻❤️

Maybe he’s heard it’s one of the most special swims on the lake and thought he’d come and check it out for himself!

Huge congratulations to our Veteran Ambassador Robbie on landing the absolutely stunning “The Pretty One” from Caney! 🐟👏

And WOW… just look at her! 😍

Those colours and those incredible scales — she really is one of the prettiest carp in Caney! 🤩🐟💚

Robbie isn’t just one of our Veteran Ambassadors — he’s someone who gives so much of his time, heart and support to Hilton Valley and our veteran community. 🇬🇧

To the two people who were fishing, RJL and Vikings Rest today…
Our Bailiff has picked up this bag of rubbish left behind in Vikings Rest after you left this morning. 🙄

Leaving rubbish behind is not only disrespectful to the anglers who come after you, but plastic and other rubbish can also be harmful to our fish and wildlife if it makes its way into the lake.

And here’s the cheeky bit… 😏
You passed the bins on your way out!

We provide bins, so there really is no excuse for leaving rubbish around the fishery.

Sadly, it's a sign of the times and the disrespectful behaviour we sometimes have to deal with.

The two individuals concerned have been identified by name and will not be permitted to book or fish at Hilton Valley Carp Fishery again.

That decision is based solely on your behaviour — not anyone else's.
