For those who aren't aware, our super fit sibling pair of James & Emma Hair, have been taking part in a series of gruelling challenges in memory of their dad, Jim Hair, who would have turned the big 60 this year. They are raising funds for Child Bereavement UK who provide invaluable support for young people dealing with grief. "3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours - COMPLETED ✅🍾

Part 2 of our charity events to raise money in Memory of Dad done 🩷

What a crazy 24 hours it has been. From endless laughs to very questionable decisions mainly summiting Ben Nevis when I can categorically say I have never been more soaked or as cold in my entire life or when we were barricaded in Scafell Pike Car Park for an hour post hike because last night they decided to retar the road outside.

Can confirm i'd rather run a marathon before completing this again in the same conditions!

Thank you to our A team who got us through, and to Queen Mother for making sure we managed to complete it within 24 hours all be it with very questionable driving and road choice - we couldn't have done it without any of you!

Big Thanks to BHC Ltd for kindly providing us with a Van for the trip so we could take everything except the kitchen sink!

Now on to the third & Final - Walking the West Highland Way in just over a weeks time. Praying the weather is kinder as i'm not keen on pitching a tent in the weather we had today.

It's not too late to donate to make the days ahead drying out and unthawing worth while!"

What a night we had at our end of season Prizegiving Dinner!

Thanks must go to our speaker for the evening, Ali Asher who entertained us with some great stories and helped present the prizes!

We would also like to thank Hamilton Ice Rink and Icekoolcatering for keeping the drinks flowing and providing a delicious meal! 🍴

On Sunday some of our members played for the President's Plate. There were 8 teams competing in a progressive bonspiel playing each other for a single end.

In second on +4 were Jonathan Buchanan, Alison Taylor, Shirley Linton and Willie King.
