Hang On Climbing Centre

5 Years ago today.

On May 11th 2021 we opened our doors for the first time. Since then we've:

- hosted a dozens of competitions
- taught hundreds of children
- set thousands of climbs
- introduced climbing to tens of thousands of people
- made innumerable coffees
- and tried to make the most of every second we had together

We're not sure what the future holds for Hang On, but we know it has been excellent😊

Over the past 2 years, there has been a tremendous uncertainty as to the future of our climbing centre. After many months of pursuing the local council for a resolution, we have finally arrived at a mutual agreement.

As a result, Hang On Climbing Centre will be closing forever at 6pm on Saturday the 14th of March 2026.

At this moment we do not know when or where we will be relocating and rebuilding our centre.

Because of this news, ALL MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOW £20!!! 🤯

It's been a grand adventure for us, and we're sad to see the end, but we're also hugely proud of our team, who made Hang On what it is, and of our friends, who made it all worth while!♥

We started Hang On to GET PEOPLE CLIMBING (our slogan, if you didn't know!), so you better KEEP CLIMBING!!!!
