📢 Changes to Saturday Group Lessons
Unfortunately, we are going to have to move our Saturday group lessons to an allocated slot system, similar to our midweek lessons.
We have tried to keep Saturdays as flexible as possible, but it simply isn’t working in the way we had hoped, with some weeks being overbooked and others not having enough riders.
Therefore, from 1st July, Saturday group lessons will move to a monthly standing order system. To allow some flexibility, bookings can be either:
🐴 Weekly lessons: £118 per calendar month
🐴 Fortnightly lessons: £65 per calendar month (subject to pairing with another rider wanting fortnightly lessons).
Sunday group lessons will remain flexible as they currently are.
Our Saturday Mini Group will also move to the same system:
🐴 Weekly Mini Group: £86 per calendar month
🐴 Fortnightly Mini Group: £45 per calendar month
If you would like to retain your Saturday group space, please contact me to make arrangements. Any spaces not confirmed will be offered out to others on our waiting list.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 💕

🐴 Equine Flu – Please Help Us Protect Our Horses 🐴
As many of you will be aware, there have been a number of recent cases of Equine Influenza reported in the UK.
Equine flu is highly contagious and can spread not only through horse-to-horse contact but also via clothing, footwear, equipment and people moving between yards.
The virus can be carried on hands, jackets, boots and other items after contact with infected horses, meaning people can unintentionally spread it between different equestrian venues.
With this in mind, we would kindly ask that if you regularly visit other yards, riding schools, competitions or equestrian events, you take extra care before attending Burnbank Equestrian Centre.
Please avoid visiting Burnbank on the same day as attending another equestrian venue, and ensure that boots, clothing and any equipment have been thoroughly cleaned before visiting us .
Our priority is the health and wellbeing of all horses on the yard, and we are sure you will understand that these precautions are being taken to minimise risk and protect everyone’s horses.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation and support in helping us keep Burnbank Equestrian Centre safe.
🐴 The Burnbank Team
We’ve had a lot going on recently, but we haven’t forgotten about Danielle’s journey back to confidence with Bart. ❤️
We’ve moved on quite a bit now – no lunge rein at all, and Danielle is happily walking and trotting by herself.
The key for us now is simply to keep going, stay consistent, and make sure Bart remains happy, relaxed, and enjoying his work. We know it doesn’t look perfect yet. He still has some tense moments and isn’t always working fully over his back, but that’s all part of the process and will come with time as they continue to grow and develop together.
We’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve both come already, and we’re excited to see what the next stage of their journey brings. 🐴✨
Nicolas next clinic incoming ❤️
CLINIC ANNOUNCEMENT ✨
Nicola Gillespie Crolla - Sunday 14th June 2026 x
Dressage rider extraordinaire ❤️
We’re SO excited to be running our first clinic with the amazing Nicola Gillespie Crolla 😍
For those who don’t know Nicola… she comes from a serious show jumping background (3 horses in the family at Olympic level 👀). She herself jumped up to 1.30m… and no bigger 🤮😂 before switching to dressage 20 years ago.
Starting at Prelim, she worked her way up to her first Grand Prix in just 4 years 💪 – becoming the first Scottish rider to compete at that level 🇬🇧
Since then she has:
🏆 Been Scottish Champion 5x
🇬🇧 Represented Britain twice at PSG & Inter I
🌟 Placed top 10 at Barcelona 4* Small Tour
🎖 Competed & placed at numerous National Champs, Premier Leagues & top shows
Nicola absolutely LOVES teaching ❤️
She works with all levels and is passionate about improving both horse and rider – no matter how small the step forward 💫
📍 Private lessons: £55 (45 mins)
📍 Shared lessons: £35 per rider (45 mins, 2 sharing)

Our lovely Elise has now left on the trip of a lifetime to do AmeriCamp 🇺🇸✈️
Before heading off, she had a lovely wee pizza party so all the girls (and adults too!) could say goodbye 🍕❤️
Safe travels Elise — we know you’ll have an amazing time and make memories to last forever. I’m sure everyone will join us in wishing you all the very best. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
And of course, a huge thank you to Skye for stepping in and taking over while Elise is away ❤️ x

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds me why I’m so proud of what we’ve built 💛
Between lessons, pony rides, a busy birthday party and everything else going on, it truly took a whole team effort — and what a team we have.
I’m so grateful to our incredible staff, our amazing teenage helpers who stepped up without hesitation, the extra girls who came along to lend a hand, and all the lovely mums who helped throughout the day. Everyone pulled together, supported each other and made sure every child had the best experience possible despite the weather trying to interrupt our plans!
Receiving messages like this makes all the hard work worth it. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — the patience, kindness and teamwork did not go unnoticed 🐴✨
We couldn’t do it without you all. What a team 🤍
