📢 Telecoms Mast Planning Update
Many of you will be aware that North Yorkshire Council’s decision to refuse the original mast application is now being appealed by Telent (on behalf of EE). This appeal will be decided through written representations, and all previous comments will be considered.
🗓️ If you wish to submit new comments, or modify/withdraw your previous ones, you can do so online by 22 September 2025.
‼️ New Application Submitted ‼️
In addition to the appeal, Telent (EE) has now submitted a new and separate application for a slightly smaller mast. The proposal includes:
• A 25m monopole
• 6 antennas
• 2 dishes (600mm diameter)
• 2 equipment cabinets
• A 2.1m palisade fence with 3m double gates

⚽ Love Football. Protect the Game. 🌟
The FA is taking big steps to make grassroots football safer, fairer, and more enjoyable for EVERYONE this season. 🙌
Here’s what’s new for 2025–26:
✅ Captains-Only Protocol – Only the captain can speak to the referee about decisions, reducing crowding and intimidation.
✅ Cooling-Off Periods (Trial) – Referees can pause matches in heated moments, giving players and coaches time to calm down.
✅ Referee Bodycams Expanded – More leagues will now see refs wearing bodycams to boost respect and accountability.
✅ Behaviour Improvement Programme & Penalty Points – Clubs with poor discipline will face penalty points for dissent, violent conduct, or low Respect scores.
✅ Love Football. Protect the Game Campaign – A national movement to promote respect, safety, and enjoyment in grassroots football.
Let’s celebrate fair play, support our referees, and make this season one to remember—for all the right reasons! ⚽👏
