BANTAMS APPOINT ROME AS FITNESS COACH Ben Rome has been appointed as the Bantams’ new fitness coach. The former Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield United man arrives on an initial one-year contract. Rome is no stranger to success at this level, having achieved promotion to League One, with Doncaster, in 2017.

This morning I taught a Pilates class as part of a Hen Weekend.

After the class, two ladies told me they were quite anxious and didn’t know what to expect... but after my class they both said they were surprised how much they relaxed but also worked through the class and would definitely consider attending a Pilates class now!

This was awesome feedback! Pilates has so many health benefits 💜

Ema delivered Movement, Stretching and Mobility workshops at YARA in Pocklington today as part of their Health & Safety day.

The workshops focused on two areas; the benefits of being active and how simple changes in daily habits can significantly reduce health risks associated with being inactive.
As well as the importance of stretching on the body and the mind.

At the end of each workshop participants were asked to write down 3 targets on a post it note on ways they were going to increase their movement and stretching over the next few weeks through small changes that will then become habits:
1) a daily target
2) a weekly target
3) a target they wish to achieve by the end of next month

Hopefully it got everyone thinking about how and why they need to be more active.
