A big win for our men’s team this morning means they are safe in division 4 next season. As is the Starbeck social way, plenty of the team players from the season celebrated with a team beer in the sun afterwards!

3 of our 4 mixed teams have now completed all their matches this season with fantastic results! Our first mixed team finished 2nd in division 1. Our second mixed team finished 2nd in division 2 and our third mixed team finished 2nd in division 4. Our second team here celebrating their win last night before running off to their victory pizzas in the pub!

There’s nothing Starbeck love more than some chocolate Guiness cake at the end of a tightly contested tennis match! Thank you Ripon Indoor Tennis Centre for fab post tennis refreshments and well done on the win.

Our mixed 4th team celebrated a win in division 5 of the HDTL on Monday, while our first team suffered their first loss of the season at Ripon.
The mixed second team are still unbeaten this season, after a win last night against Thirsk.

A great win for our ladies team in a very close match in the York Tennis Leagues this morning.

This week at the club:
Sunday 11th May men’s first team at home 10am
Monday 12th May our mixed 4th team play at home from 6.30 while our first team are away at Ripon.
Tuesday 13th May is Club Night from 6pm
Wednesday 14th May mixed 2nd team play at home from 6.30
Friday 16th May our ladies team are back in action at York.
