We are a Football Coaching School based in Leeds We teach kids to be technically really good both; as individuals and as a team.
Our coaching philosophy is based on this simple concept and principle; that children should spend lots of time keeping possession of the ball within the team in order to develop optimally as footballers. And this is not just about coaching kids to be skilled footballers who play only as individuals, but about coaching kids to be skilled footballers as individuals and as team players, as football
is after all a team sport where individuals work together as a team. We coach kids to be highly technical and skilful and comfortable with the ball; on an individual level and on a team level; to play with flare and skill within the team group, the collective team; whereby the main aim is keeping possession of the ball. In order to reach this aim, our coaching methods focus on these two points;
The first point: is that each child shall spend 50 per cent of the session working with the ball in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 games, to develop skill and technique to the highest level of expertise. The second point; is that each child shall spend 50 percent of the session playing as part of a team in a game situation where Triangles and Diamonds are the foundations of the passing;
Tiki taka football is a very simple way to play the game, but it is difficult at the same time to apply because players have to be very good technically; this is why we concentrate on these two main points; technical development on an individual basis and technical development on a collective basis. That is the TTS way; and that is how TTS footballers play.
