Everyone at the Club wishes a speedy recovery to one of our own and one of our longest serving players Ben Sedgley who suffered a broken leg in our match yesterday following a nasty tackle which unfortunately went unpunished. A reminder to our fellow clubs of the age-old cliche: “everyone’s got to go to work on Monday”.

A brilliant season opener went the way of United away at Yeadon. The Reds had to hang on at the end but it was United who took their chances in the end and walked away with 3 points.

Saturday 1st August sees the lads return to action for the first outing of the 2020/21 season versus our pals Harrogate Old Boys.

Always a good curtain-raiser. We’re expecting the Old Boys to be fit and ready after all of their lockdown running 🏃‍♂️

FRIENDLIES //

Following the exciting news that grassroots football can recommence from 1 August, HUFC are looking to organise friendlies from this date. If any time would like a friendly please get in touch. Our preference would be away fixtures but if this isn’t doable please let us know and we can try to arrange a venue ⚽️🔴⚫️

It was great for all the lads to get together last night for the end of season do!

Unfortunately, but understandably, this season was cut short whilst we remained in the hunt for silverware on two fronts.

We will be back next season to pick up where we left off and get some Trophies in the cabinet.
