How you approach a problem, a solution, a situation (and how to reach your preferred result) has a lot to with your attitude when you first arrive at said moment. โฃ

If you go into a situation feeling like you're not going to do well or you feel nervous or unconfident. The outcome is pretty invenevitable. It's as if you anticipated failure before it actually happened. It's normal to feel like this in so many isutatuins but you don't want to get to the point that it triggers you. โฃ

If you go in feeling supported, guided, knowledgeable. The outcome will of course not always be met with success but your approach would be a damn side better! You'll approach the situation as a moment learning and growing than a moment of failure and acute-disapoinment.โฃ

There is growing evidence that infact we women need to engage in weight and strength training throughout our whole womanhood. Strength and/or weight training is even more significant when we go through the menopause and even more so, post menopause. Strength and weight training does not always mean going in for the heaviest deadlift or sn**ch! There are other efficient and effective ways to keep you in shape, happy and healthy. ๐๐ช๐ผโฃ

2021 Motivations! โฃ

It's always so invigorating to have a plan and to know where you're going. Today I started back where I left off three weeks ago. This time, my aim is to build muscle and shave some seconds off PBs. โฃ

For example. I really want to surpass my 5k PB (personal best time). The consequences of this aren't going to devestate me but it for sure will let me know that I will have to readjust my training. I may have to look at other factors such as my nutrition, sleep, stress, how I'm training. โฃ

This is usually how most people start off. You may want to slip into your jeans better or maybe you're looking to achieve a certain physique. Quite often once you begin to achieve this goal, you're mind shifts onto maintaining this and/or other challenges such as race or competition.โฃ
