Before kick off yesterday we held a minutes silence in memory of Matt Beard. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and the community.

Game Day! Come support the ladies in their second game of the season. Otley is a lovely place to visit, too.

First game of the season sees Killinghall face new to the league, Pool at Rossett School.

Fabulous way to end our pre season with a tournament hosted by our friends Scotton Scorchers. Great to see a variety of goal scorers and an all round quality performance.

Next week sees the start of our league season.

Penultimate game of the season and we've grabbed our first win. Thank you to our supporters and Headingley for coming out on a very warm evening.

Ever fancied kicking a ball around without being shouted at by someone in a tracksuit with a whistle? Do you like laughing, getting fit(ish), and occasionally remembering which direction to run on a football pitch?

Then WE WANT YOU (yes, you with the glass of fizz in your hand and phone in the other).

We are a welcoming women’s football team where the only real rule is: have fun, don’t take yourself too seriously, and try not to score own goals (too often). We range in experience from “What’s offside?” To “Played once in school” to “Could have gone semi-pro but chose brunch instead”.

Ages range from early 20s to fabulous 50+, proving it’s never too late to channel your inner Lioness.

Great day yesterday against Horsforth Ladies. We didn't take the win but the team definitely put out a really strong performance. POM went to our amazing Goal Keeper Sue Gardner for a commanding performance between the posts.

Sunday our focus changes to the cup. Taking on Scotton Ladies at Killinghall Moor Community Park 2pm. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations and a huge well done to our ladies, who all completed Saint Michael's Hospice midnight walk. So far they've raised over £700.

In just over a week some of our players and coaches will be putting on a different set of boots to support a local charity. They will be taking part in Saint Michael's Hospice Midnight Walk.
