Harrogate Town Judo Club will start 26th of April. FREE first taster session. Bring a friend after that and your session is FREE.
The new venue is :
Mowbray Community Church
Westmoreland Street
Harrogate
HG1 5AT
Sessions:
6:45-17:45 - Age 5-7
18:00-19:00 - Age 8-15
20:15-21:30 - Seniors
Mat fees are £4 for juniors, siblings £6 and £5 for seniors. To sign up please email [email protected] with your child's name, DOB, contact details, any previous Judo experience. PLACES ARE LIMITED – So book early to avoid disappointment

To practice Judo we need three basic things: a sport hall, Judo uniform and Judo mats. The mats we are using at the moment lend by another club and we have to return them by May. This means that if we can’t buy our own mats by then we won’t be abl....

This is Judo...It is not all about big throws, bone cracking arm locks or ‘breath taking’ strangles. Respect, discipline, courage and friendship are just as important to become a Judoka.
This is judo! 🥋
In Brazil 🇧🇷 a beaten Diego Cruz, 19, (blue judogi) tied up the belt of his victorious opponent Mike Pinheiro who had injured his arm after their contest. Both young men showed the world what it means to be a judoka. Respect, friendship and solidarity!

I believe everyone who has done the grading got the certificate and the sticker from British Judo. Please bring both of them tomorrow. Well done guys. I am proud all of you.👍🥋
