We launched… and you showed up. 💚

Thank you to every woman who walked through the door, gave it a go, and made the first StrongHER Space sessions what they were.

The StrongHer space is never just about a workout.

It’s about having a space where you don’t feel judged. Where you can start exactly where you are.
Where strength isn’t about how it looks, but how it helps you live your life.

🫶🏻Lifting your kids.
🫶🏻Getting up off the floor.
🫶🏻Feeling more like yourself again.

That’s what we’re building💚

A space for women who are tired, busy, and juggling a lot but still want to feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in their bodies.

And the best part?
The atmosphere in that room… we do have a giggle.

So thank you. For trusting it. For trying it. For being part of it from the very start.

This is just the beginning 💚

Muscle strengthening exercise is essential for building bone density, supporting long-term musculoskeletal health, and in later life, maintaining balance and protecting women’s independence.

But women are less likely to strength train at every age of their lives than men🚨

This means tens of thousands of women living in poorer health, just because they’re women.

This is unacceptable.

If we’re serious about supporting women to stay active throughout their lives, we need insight, evidence and action.

We’re currently scoping our next piece of work on women in later life so we can do just that.

There’s always that moment in a big class…

You’re not 100% sure what you’re doing

Everyone else looks like they’ve got it

So you just… carry on and hope for the best.

We’ve all done it.

Small group is different.

You don’t get lost in the room and guess your way through exercises
And you don’t have to “keep up” with anyone

You just… get better at moving your body properly.

(And yes… I will notice what your glutes are doing 👀)

Your knees and your back… let’s talk 😬

They’re usually the ones getting the blame☹️

Knees: “gone”😭
Back: “playing up again”😤

Meanwhile, your glutes, core, hips and ankles have been… doing the bare minimum(quietly clocked out, if we’re honest)😬

Your body works as a chain.
If the support system isn’t working → load gets pushed elsewhere.

Most often?
👉 Knees and lower back.

👉🏻 This is what health inequality actually looks like in real life.

👉🏻 “I’m just tired.”
👉🏻 “I don’t feel motivated.”
👉🏻 “I don’t have time.”
👉🏻 “Walking into a class on my own feels daunting.”
👉🏻 “Perimenopause has knocked me.”
👉🏻 “Juggling family and a career”
👉🏻 “Money”

💬 These were some of the answers when I asked my clients what’s the number one reason they find exercise hard.

It’s not about people not caring about their health.

It’s about how hard it feels to actually access exercise when you’re juggling work, kids, energy, confidence, finances, hormones… everything 😢

So instead of ignoring those barriers…

We’re building our classes around them.

✔ Clear guidance (albeit an inconsistent timer 😂)
✔ A space where you don’t feel out of place… no matter what 💚
