This is what “organic-first” progress looks like 👇
Over the last week we’ve focused on the basics that actually move the needle:
• Regular cuts to tighten the sward and improve speed
• Overseeding into the weaker mossy patches (photo)
• Bio-stimulants to keep the plant ticking and recovering
• A consistent approach to unlock pace without stressing the plant
The goal isn’t a quick fix — it’s a healthier surface that outcompetes moss and performs better week by week.
Want this kind of steady improvement at your club?

This year’s plan for this green was to unlock some of its old pace again.
That starts by getting things right under the hood first.
These cores are showing better water movement through the profile, manageable thatch levels, and improving soil condition underneath — all helping the surface run cleaner and quicker.
The nice bit is the green is already playing well and getting good comments, especially for the weather.
Get the profile right below, and you give the green the best chance to perform above.

3 signs your green needs a bit of air (when safe):
1) Soft underfoot / footprints linger
2) Water sitting on the surface
3) Moss creeping in around edges

Myth: “A good cut fixes everything.” 😄
Reality: firmness + airflow + timing builds a better surface.
Start with switch/brush + light aeration when safe.

**PLAN for this week** 🌱
✅ Conditions check (frost/saturated?)
✅ Keep leaf dry (switch/brush dew)
✅ Light aeration only when it’s firm enough

Giving the green a little thatch haircut 😄✂️
Swapped the SISIS Autorake from brush ➜ thatch control reel and did a few light passes.
The lines you’re seeing are the reel lifting material — totally normal at the start ✅
Then it’s straight into a clean-up mow/collect to tidy the surface.
DM PLAN if you want me to put together a simple plan for your green (send 2 photos and I’ll steer you right).
