With the generous support of The Press Room, the foremost source for all cycle race info in Scotland, this weekend’s British Cycling Track Inter Regional Championships will be live streamed via their Twitch / YouTube channel(s)

Racing commences on Saturday morning at 9am so the live stream will start at 8.50am.

⚠️ VELODROME CLOSED THIS EVENING ⚠️

Middlesbrough Velodrome will be closed this evening, with no sessions running due to several of our coaches being unavailable or away.

Please remember to check the timetable or TeamUp if you’re ever unsure whether a session is running.

Friday’s sessions will go ahead as normal. We’ll see you then! 🚴

🚨 Slight change to Wednesday evening’s programme at Middlesbrough Velodrome 🚨

Here’s what we have running tomorrow:

🕕 6pm – Open Track Session
Open to all accredited riders who would like to complete their own session or simply get some extra laps in. Please note that this is an uncoached session.

🕕 6pm – Future Stars Cyclocross
Our younger riders can enjoy another fun, skills-based cyclocross session.

🕖 7pm – FREE Team Track Session
This replaces our usual SQT session this week, with the focus on the North East Youth Team’s final preparations before travelling to Glasgow on Friday.

The session will be based around our youth team, with plenty of team pursuit and team sprint efforts. Our usual SQT riders are still very welcome to join us and can form their own teams to complete similar efforts.

Because of the stop-start nature of the session, we’re running it completely FREE of charge.

🕖 7pm – Cyclocross Development Session
Our Cyclocross Development session will also run as normal following another great session last week.

Please book your places through TeamUp—including the free track session—so we know who is coming.

🥗 NEW AT CAFÉ VELO — FRESH PASTA POTS 🚴

Something new hitting the Café Velo fridge this week! 🙌

We’ve been working on keeping our food simple, fresh and perfect for grabbing after a ride, training session or while you’re down at the Velodrome.

Our first two Velo Pasta Pots are:

🍗 Chicken & Red Pesto — £4.95
Chicken, red pesto fusilli, cherry tomatoes, spinach and Parmesan.

🌱 Mediterranean Green Pesto — £4.50
Vegan green pesto fusilli, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, black olives and spinach.

Freshly prepared at Café Velo and ready to grab straight from the fridge.

We’ll only be making small batches each week to keep everything fresh and minimise waste — so when they’re gone, they’re gone!
