This Sunday, 22 paddlers will be taking on our Medway Charity Challenge!

Our amazing team will be paddling 29km along the River Medway, from Tonbridge to Yalding, all to raise money for the fantastic Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance (airambulancekss)

This year our team is made up of an 8-person MegaSUP team from Snap Fitness Tonbridge, members of the EpicLife staff, EpicLife customers and SUP Club members.

And, of course, we have our wonderful support team of staff and volunteers, who give up their time to help us along the route — we simply couldn’t run this challenge without them.

If you are on or near the River Medway this Sunday and spot us coming through, please give our paddlers a big cheer and some encouragement to keep those paddles moving!

We are doing all of this to support KSS Air Ambulance, an incredible charity that needs around £57,000 every day to operate its lifesaving service.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the River Medway last night for our Social Paddle.

Such a lovely evening to be out on the water, with beautiful colours in the sky as the sun started to set.

With the evenings drawing in, next Wednesday is our last evening Social Paddle of the season at Tonbridge, 6.30pm–8pm.

As the seasons change from summer to autumn, do you ever notice how the river starts to change colour and become a little more peaceful?

Autumn is such a lovely time to paddle. Watching the riverbanks slowly turn beautiful shades of orange, yellow and gold makes paddling our rivers feel like a whole new experience.

Next time you are out on the water, take a moment to slow down, look around and appreciate how the scenery is changing around you.

And if you can, capture a photo of those beautiful autumn colours and share it with — we would love to see your autumn paddling photos!

It was great to see our After School Kids Paddle Club back at Tonbridge last night!

Lots of fun on the water paddleboarding, learning skills and enjoying time on the river — with even a little blackberry picking to finish off the session!

If your child is missing being out on the water now the summer holidays are over, our next Kids Paddle Club is Monday 14th, 5pm–6:30pm.

A great way to unwind after school, have some fun and enjoy being outdoors.

Intervals are a great way to improve your paddling fitness, cardio and endurance, while still enjoying being outdoors and on the water.

You can work at your own pace, challenge yourself and have some fun along the way!

Wow… what a summer we’ve had at our Kids Holiday Club!

We have had so much fun and made some fantastic memories over the summer holidays!

From adventures in the woods, whittling, den building and exploring, to plenty of fun and laughter on the water – journeys to the weir, learning new paddling skills, playing games and, of course, enjoying being both on and in the river!

A huge thank you to all the children who joined us over the summer. We’ve absolutely loved having you and seeing everyone having fun, making friends, trying new things and growing in confidence.

But the adventures aren’t over yet…
Our October Kids Holiday Club dates are now available to book online!

We can’t wait for woodland adventures, paddling, games and plenty more outdoor fun this autumn.

We hope to see lots of you back again in October!

The Summer Holidays are nearly over… but the paddling doesn’t stop!

As another fantastic summer comes to an end, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has joined us over the holidays. We have loved seeing so many of you enjoying time on and around the water with us.

As we head into September, it’s still a beautiful time of year to get outdoors and enjoy the river. We will continue to be open at both Bodiam and Tonbridge for hires and instructor-led sessions, just with reduced opening days during term time.

There’s also plenty happening this September:

Our Wednesday Social Paddle is back at Tonbridge this week – come and join us for a relaxed midweek paddle
Our Interval Sessions are continuing for anyone wanting to work on their fitness and paddling.

We are getting ready for our 29km Medway Challenge, paddling from Tonbridge to Allington to raise money for the fantastic KSS Air Ambulance.

If you are in Tonbridge this Sunday, come and say hello! We will have a stall at the Dragon Boat Race and would love to see you.

Fancy a longer, relaxing paddle? Join us on 27th September for our Grove Ferry to Fordwich paddle – a lovely journey and a great way to enjoy the changing seasons from the water.

SUP Club – our members have a busy September ahead with training sessions, challenges, progression sessions and an overnight Thames trip to look forward to!

Summer might be nearly over, but we’ve still got plenty of paddling adventures ahead. We would love you to join us.
