Windswept Watersports is a community watersports centre, our mission is to make watersports available to all! We are a Not-For-Profit organisation, this means the profits from people having fun on the water go into delivering outreach sessions to local schools, youth groups and community groups… a win win for everyone!

⛵ Dale Regatta 2026 what a great day! 🌊

A fantastic day of sailing and windsurfing for all at Dale Regatta!

A huge thank you to Dale Yacht Club for welcoming sailors from our Adaptive Watersports Club and our junior sailors onto the racecourse. It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the excitement of racing and taking on the adventure of heading outside the bay alongside all the other sailors.

There were plenty of smiles, some great racing and lots of new experiences on the water. We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and gave it a go!

A brilliant example of what inclusive watersports is all about - everyone out on the water, taking part together and enjoying everything Dale has to offer. 💙⛵

Thank you to Dale Yacht Club and everyone involved for making us feel so welcome!

Tina, Carer at Value Independence and amazing volunteer at our Apdaptive Watersports Sessions has just completed a 15,000ft SKYDIVE THIS SUNDAY just gone. ✈️🪂

She has been fundraising leading up to her skydive with proceeds going between and to the Changing Spaces Toilet Facility here in Dale. Tina has managed to raise a whopping £3501

If you can please support Tina in her fundraising efforts, check out her Crowdfunding page:

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tina-foster-1

Here’s a little insight into why Tina did her skydive:

“In honour of my beloved son Luke Foster, who very sadly passed away suddenly on 12th March 2024, aged 37 years, I have booked a tandem parachute jump at a height of 15,000 feet, hoping that I can raise funds to help 2 local organisations that I feel Luke would have wholeheartedly approved of.

Luke should have been celebrating his 40th birthday on 23rd August this year, so I’m hoping it will be possible to jump on the day of his birthday, alongside my amazing boss Sam Warden, who has kindly agreed to support and jump with me”

Well done Tina, we are so grateful for everything you’re doing to help make the changing places toilet in Dale possible 🙏🎉

We are really excited to be supporting PERKYS Charity in raising funds for a Changing Places Toilet facility in Dale.

Through our work at Windswept, we see first-hand how the lack of suitable accessible toilet and changing facilities can be a huge barrier for disabled people and their families when visiting our beaches and coastline. Something as basic as having the right facilities can be the difference between being able to enjoy a day at the beach and simply not being able to visit at all.

We are proud to support PERKYS Charity with this project and hope our community will get behind the fundraising too.

Come along and support this amazing cause this Friday and Saturday at our 24-Hour Watersports Challenge!

There will be cake, bacon butties, live music and, of course, the chance to get a team together and take to the water!

Whether you want to join in, cheer everyone on or simply pop down for a cuppa and a slice of cake, we would love to see you there.

24 hours of watersports, to help make Dale more accessible for everyone. 💙🌊
