Ben Fields 115* came home to Fishguard and included 32 runs in the final over (5 sixes) to help reach triple figures

Gareth Scourfield has been a great signing for the club this season. He showcased his talent with a hard hitting ton away to Cresselly 4ths before moving up and playing for both our 3rds and 2nds later in the season

Ashoka was on another level with his 151* which came following a night shift as an anesthesiologist. With no sleep, you won't see many better knocks 👏

Best figures -

Simon's 5/11 was the 2nd of back to back 5fers, this one away to Pembroke.

Kos's 5/8 was also the 2nd of back to back 5fers which he started the season with. This one home to Carew 3rds.

Gareth's fantastic 6/11 away to Whitland was the best figures for the club this season 👏

🔵 Top run scorers and wicket takers across the senior sides for the 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ season

Top run scorer - Ashoka, Jonny & Ben will all be very happy with their run gathering seasons. Ashoka came second in Division 3s rankings. Ben was fifth in Division 2 with Jonny coming 3rd.

Top wicket taker - A tie between two spin kings with both ending on 39 wickets (both on 42 if you include friendlies too). Simon will be pleased with his first full season in the 1s bowling spin while Harri showed why he will be amongst the wickets for many years to come.

🔵 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ fielding stats

1st XI - Buckets! Mudit has taken 15 catches this season, including a 5fer of catches away to Pembroke.

2nd XI - Stobbsy has shared keeping duties this season and is a very effective boundary rider too

3rd XI - Steffan is always reliable in the field & has taken 5 catches this season

4th XI - Ryan Dewstowe is a very promising wicket keeper who must be the youngest person to be 4th team skipper too 👏🏏

🔵 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ HCC Bowling Stats

1st XI - The change from Seam to Spin 5 years back for Simon seems to have worked with 36 wickets being enough for him to claim the 1s bowling award this season. Fin will be proud of his first full season opening the bowling in the 1s. Jake will feel unlucky not to have more after many great opening spells this season 🏏

2nd XI - The man doesn't age. Nigel Morgan, back bowling after a shoulder injury a few years ago took 26 wickets to claim the 2s bowling award. Matthew Vaughan, the seconds skipper, saw his consistency help him claim 2nd place. The opening bowling pair of Suli & Kieran tied for 3rd. Both will feel they deserved more wickets from their tight opening spells.

3rd XI - Harri Atyeo. What more to say? Starting the season in the 3rd XI after taking 7fer in the last game of 2025, Harri continued with fine form taking 33 wickets in the 3s 🌳. This fine form saw him claim his 2nds and 1sts debuts at just 14. Kos started the season with back to back 5fers but a broken finger hampered the end of his year. Sidak is another fine prospect. His pace bowling helped get him into the 2nds by the end of the season and will look to push on next year 🏏

4th XI - Gareth Fair was one of our older heads leading the "creche" of our 4th team this season with many youngsters playing throughout the season. Gareth's 21 wickets saw him top the 4th XI charts with a 6fer being the highlight. Honourable mention to Rhys Adamson who made his senior debut at 12 this season, showing what a prospect he is 🏏

🔵 HCC 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ batting stats

1st XI - New Skipper Jonny White's consistency saw him claim the batting award while Ben Field & Chris Phillips will be both be very happy with their seasons 👏🏏

2nd XI - Ashoka Senavirathna! What a guy! Not only his amazing 151* but even without that knock he would have won the 2nds batting award. Dessie & Doug with good seasons with the bat, and will hope to claim the top spot next season 🏏

3rd XI - Dickie! What else to say. An ever present in the club (or walking his athletic dog around the Racecourse). Dickie is always consistent and that consistency has won him a deserved batting award 🏏

4th XI - Richard Scriven led the youth in the 4ths from the front, top scoring before a hip operation ruled him out of the last few months. Richard gave the award to youngster Ed Raymond who had mightly impressed him by opening the batting & bowling regularly in the 4ths this season before moving up to their 3rds. Well done both 👏🏏

Harri has taken 52 wickets in all comps (seniors & juniors) and has gone from our 3rd XI to making his firsts debut 👏🏏
