Haverfordwest LTC: Doubles delight for Val and Jeremy at Wimbledon Haverfordwest Tennis Club players brought home not one but two titles from Wimbledon earlier this month.

Congratulations to youth player Catrin Frank who recently won international honours in football, representing Wales Under-15s🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The 1️⃣1️⃣th annual Shirley James memorial tournament was once again kindly hosted by Dinas Powys Lawn Tennis Club

Four pairs made the trip on Sunday to represent Shirley’s old club, Haverfordwest - with Jane & Sarah and Ceri O & Helen making their group finals.👏🏻

Jeremy Cross does it again (and again, and again)

He and partner Adam Popowicz have won the men’s over 40s doubles title at the British Masters Grass Court Closed Championships 👏

It’s the third year running Jeremy has won a doubles title at Wimbledon and will be looking to add another trophy to his collection tomorrow when he plays number one seed Nick Adams in the men’s over 50s singles final 🤞🏼
