🌊 NEW WEEKLY ADAPTIVE KIDS SURF CLUB 🌊

We’re excited to launch our new weekly Adaptive Kids Surf Club at Broad Haven (North) Beach!

These sessions are designed for children with additional needs and/or disabilities, providing a fun, supportive and inclusive environment to experience the freedom, confidence and joy that blue spaces can bring.
From the beach to the waves, our team will be there every step of the way, offering support, encouragement and a helping hand whenever it’s needed.

💙 Suggested donation: £10 per session
However, if cost is a barrier, please get in touch. Thanks to our brilliant funders, we don’t want any child to miss out and we will help out.

🌊 Introducing “You, Me and the Sea” 🌊

For 2026, Blue Horizons is incredibly proud to launch our NEW Adaptive Surfing project.

This collaborative community project has been made possible thanks to the amazing support of Port of Milford Haven , Pembrokeshire County Council , Postcode Lottery UK , The National Lottery Community Fund , Wales and Round House

Together, we are helping Pembrokeshire residents aged 8–100+, with additional needs due to disability, illness, injury or learning difficulties experience the freedom, wellbeing and connection of the ocean through supported adaptive surf sessions.

Using specially adapted surfboards, beach access equipment and adaptive qualified instructors, sessions are designed around each individual person - creating a calm, fun, supportive and inclusive environment where people can access the coastline in a way that works for them.

💙 Sessions are available for a suggested £10 donation to book. However, we never want cost to be a barrier to accessing the sea, so if this would be difficult for you, please get in touch confidentially as we are able to waive the donation to help make sessions accessible for everyone.

🏄‍♀️ Adaptive Kids Surf Sessions – Tuesdays this Summer! 🌊
Our adaptive surf club is designed for neurodivergent children and those with learning disabilities, ages 8–16.

📍 Location: Broad Haven North (subject to surf conditions)
🕒 Time: Select your preferred time when booking – final times confirmed 48hrs before
💙 Cost: £5 donation to book (but please get in touch if this is unaffordable – we don’t want anyone to miss out)

👥 We also offer tailored 1:1 sessions throughout the week for those with more complex needs – just let us know what support your child needs.
