Huge congratulations to each and every student from our school who took part in Ballet Cymru’s End of Year Summer School performance! 🎉 I even heard through the grapevine that one of my wonderful adult dancers from Monmouth was involved too, which made me so proud.
From everything I’ve heard, the performances were absolutely incredible, and I’m so proud of everyone who took part. It sounds like it was a truly inspiring experience and a fantastic way to celebrate all of your hard work and dedication.
I’m also sending a heartfelt thank you to Ballet Cymru for continuing to provide such inspiring opportunities and unforgettable experiences for dancers of all ages.
I’m so sorry that I wasn’t able to be there to support you all in person. I was incredibly disappointed to miss such a special event, but I hope you all know how proud I am of each and every one of you. Congratulations again, you should all be so proud of yourselves! Feel free to add in any wonderful photos you got and thank you Claire for sharing these with me 💖

Dancer's Notebook…
The best dancers aren't always the fastest learners. They're the ones who keep showing up.
After years of teaching, I've learned that talent is only part of the story. Some students seem to master a step instantly, while others work for weeks or months before it clicks. In the end, it is often the student who keeps coming back - with patience, determination, and curiosity - who becomes the stronger dancer.
Progress in ballet is rarely dramatic. It is built class by class, correction by correction, and one small breakthrough at a time.
Never underestimate the power of simply showing up.
