🔵Our League Position: 5th
🏉Last time we met: Edin Northern 25:25 Hawick Linden (25:42 AET)
The hosts started their season off with a win against Leith at the weekend and with Inverleith Park always proving to be a tough place to go, it’s will need to be a top performance if we want to come back down the road with the points.

We had 3 prizes not picked up in yesterdays club draw, names are on the tickets and we’ll get in touch with those of you who’ve won if you don’t contact us first by way of message to arrange getting them to you. Well done to our 1st and 3rd Prize winners from Earlston who took their prizes away on the day and thanks to all of you who purchased tickets.
We also found this key lying outside the Volunteer, if it belongs to you please let us know.

Today’s Stags Head Bar Man of the Match was Arran Common sponsored by Richard Common School of Music.
Arran put in an excellent shift today with plenty of strong carries and a solid tackling performance in what was his returning game after a lay off from injury and rightly deserved the accolade.
Great work Arran, was good to have you back in the side this afternoon!

Tough game for the lads today against a well drilled Earlston side, just coming up short in an entertaining battle full of mistakes which the away team capitalised on.
The team performed well and there was plenty of positives to take and if we cut out the small errors that can matter the most in games things can certainly come together.
Well done to the 5 lads who made their debuts today too.
Congrats to Earlston on the win and we wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
We turn our attentions to Edinburgh Northern away next week!

The club would like to wish Hawick RFC all the best tomorrow in their derby against Kelso.
From a club point of view it’s great to see Luke Scott and Liam Bouglas on the teamsheet for their premiership game, it’s always good to see players who’ve chose the Linden Pathway into men’s rugby progressing and doing well for themselves.
All the best lads and go well tomorrow Hawick!

Thanks very much to Hawick Golf Club. for a great day on the course, it is in immaculate condition considering the dry summer we’ve had and a great place for anyone to play golf in the borders. Thanks to Gordon Adams for organising it all.
Well done to everyone who played today, the course etiquette was top notch and you have been a credit to the club. I’m sure tonight will be well enjoyed.
Shot of the day went to Thomas Anderson who holed out on 15 for a 2 from the middle of the fairway.
We will play again for the shield next year and there will be sure to a few handicap changes with the high scoring winners we’ve had😂. Few Bandits to say the least.
