🏆 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 🏆

A fantastic early-autumn day saw 23 players take to the course for our annual Club Championship, competing over 18 holes from the white tees.
​
👏 Huge congratulations to Paul Smyth, who produced a superb double victory, winning both the Gross Championship with 80 and the Nett Championship with 69!
​

Club President Wendy Waite made the presentations before everyone enjoyed a well-earned drink and plenty of clubhouse banter.

A fantastic turnout of 33 players competed in this year’s Ladies Club Championship, with some great golf played despite the changeable conditions!

⛳ A HUGE well done to our Men’s Vice Captain, Darren! 👏👏

On Saturday 29th August, Darren took on the incredible challenge of playing 72 holes in ONE DAY — all in support of a fantastic charity!
​
And remember that really wet Saturday we had recently? Yep… that was the day! Despite the conditions, Darren powered through all 72 holes. What an amazing achievement!

Last Wednesday, our Ladies enjoyed a very special morning in memory of our wonderful Hazel.
​
What a fantastic turnout, and thank you to everyone for embracing what Hazel wore best – leopard print! There were some fabulous outfits and plenty of glamour on show.
​
The 9-hole competition was followed by a delicious Ploughman’s lunch in the clubhouse – a lovely way to round off a very special morning.

On 29 August, Darren will be taking on an incredible challenge to support Kangaroos, playing 72 holes of golf in a single day, all while walking the entire course.

Every pound raised will help us continue providing activities, opportunities and lifelong support for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and additional needs, along with their families.
