Just a reminder, Mr G, (Mark), Unit 1 Cheney Crescent, Heacham. PE31 7BT. Tel 07983352791. Is now repairing bicycles. He is a very capable mechanic, a very keen cyclist and has worked for Brompton Cycles in the past. So you will be in very safe hands.
If you don't know about Brompton Cycles they are the British manufacturers of the best Folding Bike in the world, in my opinion.

Since I closed, Moulam and Horn, just down the road in Pound Lane, have been selling bicycle accessories. Not only tyres, tubes, pumps and puncture repair kits but also bells, l***s, handlebar grips, brake and gear cables, plus other cycling essentials. They will also have more items as time goes on. Let them know what you want.
As well as the cycle accessories they can also take in your bike for Mr G to repair.

UPDATE, NEW HOME FOUND.
Soon to be homeless; A rickshaw that has had many uses, from a Taxi service in Heacham in the mid 80's to various guises in Heacham carnival and a participant in the occasional sponsored ride. Showing signs of age and in need of a refurb. Free to anyone that has the storage and will use it for community benefit. I'm happy to help with any repairs.

Hi, I would like to thank everyone who has sent messages in reply to my retirement announcement. Your response has been quite overwhelming and there are many of them on many pages. I am trying to reply to all of you individually, it may take sometime! So to those that haven't yet had a response I apologise and hope to do so at some point. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi All.

It is with a great deal of very mixed emotions that I need to announce the closure of the A.E WALLIS cycle shop and my retirement.

I have spent the majority of my working life here and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I would especially like to express a heartfelt thank you to all my many loyal customers and those that I have met, from all walks of life and many different Countries. Without you it would not have been possible and for that I am sincerely grateful. I will certainly miss you all.

Fortunately though, with the agreement and co-operation of both Moulam & Horn, 01485 570241, https://moulam-horn.co.uk/ in Pound Lane, PE31 7ET, and Mr G at Unit 1 Cheney Crescent, PE31 7BT, 07983 352791, the sales of spares and the repairs of cycles will be able to continue in Heacham. My grateful thanks to them.

Although I will remain open until the end of the month, times of opening and the service I provide is likely to be erratic as stock and equipment are transferred to their new homes, for that
I apologise in advance.

Change nearly always seems difficult and this is going to be no exception especially as our A.E.WALLIS cycle shop has been part of Heacham life for such a long time. Life, however, has changed in so many ways since 1939 and everything has it’s time, so please bear with us as we go through this transitional time.

IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT for me to stress that the closure of the cycle shop DOES NOT EFFECT the euronics/electrical goods shop, in fact we are expecting it to grow more in the future.
