First trip to Wembley for the kids to see the Lionesses win. Bethan hoping she might get to play there one day!

A few fabulous sunny days on the slopes. Well and truly outpaced by the kids now.

4 Days on the bikes along the Loire Valley from Orleans to Tours. The kids clocked up nearly 200kms, at least that many Haribo and a few French chateaux along the way. Lots to see along the route and brilliant cycling infrastructure.

It was a wet and windy HIIT class this afternoon, but we had 2 birthdays to celebrate with burpees. 78(!) for Rodger. The man is a machine. Happy birthday Naomi & Rodger.

Year 6 and Year 3 (gulp) for these troublemakers. New school year, new front door. Same ‘fighting on the doorstep’ over taking a photo.

The kids had a fabulous day out at Henley Triathlon. Well earned medals for both of them. Brilliant event. Really well organised. We need more kids triathlons.

I said it this time last year… but I brought the buggy out of retirement for what really was our last buggy run. Bethan, aged nearly 7 wedged in the buggy for 10k around Oxford Town & Gown. Fabulous race, loads of support round the course, beautiful day, followed by beers & pizza with good friends. Brilliant morning.

Our Sunday mornings usually involve rugby & swimming so we don’t get to run Junior Parkrun very often. But I love it when we do. We took advantage of a weekend away in the sunshine to make the most of this lovely course by the river. Great effort from both kiddos (including running in sparkly boots because we didn’t pack any trainers).

Fabulous few days on the slopes getting the littlest Skyms up to speed on skis. Perfect weather and beautiful scenery in the Pyrenees.
