Est in 2014 East Sussex Dance Studios offers classes in a range of genres for all abilitys from 18 months to adults in a huge range of genres

EST 2014 ESDS is a thriving dance school with its own fabulous premises on Heathfield High street in the heart of East Sussex near the Kent boarders catering for all age groups and abilities. ESDS Provides current triple threat training for the all round dancer with industry and agency links should that be required. Our classes are for everyone no matter what you wish to be. From the once a week dancer who comes to socialise and gain confidence to the dancer who wants a career in the Performing Arts. All our teachers are fully qualified and professionally trained, with many either still in the industry or retired from it before returning to teach our knowledge onto the next generation. ESDS offers Bi-Annual shows as well as tri-annual I.S.T.D. exams of which we obtain a 100% pass rate and a 82% Distinction level. We also offer Dance Festivals, Workshops along with a huge array of performing opportunities. Many ESDS students have gone onto Professional Colleges to train including:

Tring Park School of Performing Arts

Guildford School of Acting

ESDS is Owned by Ex professional performer Jenna Crescenzo

Miss Jenna had an extensive professional career for over 10 years including her biggest acclaim was playing Frenchy In The Italian Tour of Grease, world tours, West End shows and Cruise ships. Having trained professionally at The Royal Ballet School, Arts Educational School and Northern Ballet School she absolutely loves putting her passion into ESDS and all that train there. The School offers dance classes in ISTD Ballet, ISTD Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pointe Work, Jazz, Commercial, Street, Acro and musical theatre for children from the age of 18 months upwards. This level of strength, flexibility and control doesn’t happen overnight. Behind a moment like this are countless hours of training, repetition, determination and perseverance — pushing through the difficult days and continuing to work when nobody is watching.

It’s a beautiful reminder that dancers don’t just make it look effortless; they work incredibly hard to make it look effortless. Every pointed toe, every line, every bit of balance and control has been earned.

All invoices have now been sent. 📥Please check your inbox, and let us know if you haven't received yours.

A few quick updates regarding payments:

🔹 September Fees: These are now due. We still have quite a few payments outstanding, so please transfer your September fees as soon as possible. This will help you avoid having to pay both September and October fees in the same week! As you know, after having the summer off, we really need those pennies to keep things running smoothly.

🔹 From 1st October: Your regular monthly payments will begin. You can either set up your recurring monthly payment, or use the direct payment link on your Stripe invoice.💳
Bonus: Stripe now accepts Apple Pay! It is incredibly quick and easy to secure your payments in just a couple of taps.

And that’s a wrap on our Free Trial Week at East Sussex Dance Studios! 🩰✨

We are completely overwhelmed by the response. We had over 70 trials booked in, with an incredible 98.7% sign-up rate of dancers officially taking their space! 🥹💙

To everyone who joined our dancing family this week, thank you for bringing so much energy and joy. We can't wait to see you grow!

📢 NEW VENUE ADDED! 📢

We are absolutely astounded by how much our little school has grown. Because of your incredible support, we now have six studios running simultaneously on a Thursday evening! 🩰✨

To accommodate all of our amazing dancers, we have officially added Union Church to our list of Thursday venues, alongside Kings Church and our very own studios.

A massive thank you to Union Church and Kings Church for supporting our school, as always. We are so grateful to have access to these lovely spaces so our kids can continue to thrive, dance, and grow.

Why we don’t change our competition solos every year ✨

Take a look at the picture below—this is the exact same solo, just six months apart.
The difference in technique, strength, and confidence is incredible!
True mastery takes time. When dancers change routines too often, they spend all their energy just trying to remember what comes next.
By keeping a solo for a season, the choreography becomes muscle memory. That is when the real magic happens—they stop thinking about the steps and start truly performing.

Our dancers work incredibly hard in class to perfect their technique, and it takes time to reach their full potential. If they look this amazing after just six months, imagine what they are going to look like by the end of the season!

The new season has just begun, remember to enjoy the journey process and not rush to the destination.

We are so proud of how far you’ve come Alicia. There is still so much growth ahead, but you are absolutely shining! 💎

Can't make it next week?
Don't worry! You can book a trial at any time during the year. Because it’s hard to get a real feel for a school in just one lesson, the rest of the time we offer a Two-Week Paid Trial for £12.50 (a great saving, as classes are normally £7.50 each).

Whether your child is trying dance for the very first time or looking for a new dance home to finish out their teenage years, come and see if we are the perfect fit for them.
