A tough start to our league campaign tonight as we fell to a 5-2 defeat against a strong and well-organised Clyde Women side.

We found ourselves with a tough battle on our hands, but the girls never gave up and showed great character throughout. 💪

We came out fighting in the second half and managed to get two really good goals on the board. We also created plenty of chances and had opportunities to add more, but unfortunately we just couldn't find the back of the net when it mattered. ⚽

The result isn't what we wanted, but there are plenty of positives to take from the game and lots for us to build on. We’ll learn from tonight, keep working hard and come back stronger. 🩷🖤

Full-time and it wasn't our night, but that's football. We faced a very strong Holytown team who challenged us from start to finish.

We're proud of the effort, determination, and attitude shown by every player. We win together, we learn together, and we'll use tonight to make ourselves even better.
