At Dacorum AC, we are committed to supporting our athletes as they progress through the sport and achieve their full potential.

Our High-Performance Programme (HPG) was established to provide talented athletes with the guidance, support, and resources needed to continue their development, improve their Power of 10 rankings, and ultimately work towards representing their country at senior level.

The programme is available to first-claim Dacorum AC athletes in the U15 to U20 age groups who compete in recognised athletics competitions.

Athletes may be invited to join the programme by meeting one of the following criteria:

• Selection to represent their home country
• Achievement of English Schools National Standards
• Achievement of Dacorum AC HPG Standards
• Winning a medal at a National Age Group Championship
• Finishing in the Top 16 at the English Schools Cross Country Championships

Athletes who qualify will remain within the programme for the season they achieve the standard and the following season, subject to ongoing reviews.

💆 Fully funded fortnightly sports therapy and massage sessions

🚀 ASPIRE PROGRAMME

Athletes who achieve Aspire standards, or those whose progression has been significantly impacted by injury, may be invited to join the Aspire Programme.

Aspire athletes also receive access to physiotherapy support and the club's funded sports therapy sessions.

🏆💜💚 YDL LOWER SOUTH DIVISION 1D – MATCH 2 💚💜🏆

What a day at Jarman Park!

Our young athletes produced an incredible team performance to secure a dominant victory at our home fixture, scoring 636 points and extending our lead at the top of the league. Even more impressively, Dacorum finished 1st in all four age groups – a testament to the strength, depth and team spirit throughout the club.

From sprinting to throwing, jumping to relays, the team delivered outstanding performances across the board, with countless PBs, wins and athletes stepping up wherever they were needed.

🌟 Athletes of the Match 🌟

🔹 U14 Girls – Roxi Cocker
A superb victory in the 1500m with a huge PB, showing fantastic determination and racing maturity to take the win in style.

🔹 U14 Boys – Tyler Gomm
An outstanding league debut. Tyler stormed to 12.39 in the 100m and followed it up with an impressive 5.07m Long Jump, announcing himself as one to watch this season.

🔹 U16 Boys – Nathaniel Clark
A truly exceptional day from our Team Captain. Nathaniel produced a national-standard time and new club record in the 100m hurdles, while also stepping in at the last minute to cover the Pole Vault when the team needed him most. A brilliant example of leadership, versatility and commitment.

🔹 U16 Girls – Claire & Hannah Hardy
Both athletes deserve recognition for putting the team first and stepping into events they don't normally compete in at very short notice. Their willingness to help wherever needed earned valuable points and perfectly demonstrated what team competition is all about.

👏 A huge thank you to all athletes, officials, coaches, volunteers and parents who helped make the day such a success.

The league table is looking very healthy, but there's still work to do. On to the next match! 💪

💚💜 SOUTHERN ATHLETICS LEAGUE — MATCH 1 💜💚
Saturday saw the first Southern Athletics League match of the season at Perivale Athletics Track and Dacorum knew we needed a strong start. In the cut-throat world of Division 2, anything lower than 2nd would have left us with far too much work to do later in the season.

The team absolutely stepped up, with so many athletes taking on huge multi-event days and filling gaps wherever needed. That team spirit pushed us all the way into an excellent 🥈 2nd place by the end of the match! 👏🔥

🏅 Athletes of the Match
🔥 Liam Roberts
🥇 100m — 11.05
🥇 200m — 21.85
💥 Maximum 11 points scored for the team!

🔥 Emma Wright
4️⃣ 100m — 12.87 PB
🥇 400mH — 67.65 PB

👏 Two massive personal bests and huge points for the club!
A brilliant start to the season with plenty still to build on. Thank you to every athlete, official, coach, team manager, and supporter who helped make the day happen.
