Spent the last 2 days with The International Equestrian Dzhigitovka Federation in a meeting with the president, heads of Associations and judges sorting out rules of this unique sport of Trick Riding and weapons. I’m now an official level 2 judge for this sport and will be working with Germany in hopefully creating a European championship. The good news is after a lot of work it is clear that we are the official association for Great Britain which includes Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England plus Channel Islands and The Isle of Man. If you’d like to train, compete or whatever get in touch here. The training will always be for the best clean technique- Straight legs, pointed toes, clean lines, care of the horse and not bent messy work. We were shown riders displaying bad work and excellent work in the 2 day seminar. We are the British Equestrian Dzhigitovka Association. Great that this sport has now grown and many more countries have now joined the Federation.

We haven’t posted on here for ages as not much exciting news but we are now working on hosting the first UK International Dzhigitovka championship here in the UK. The venue is most likely, subject to dates, to be Bury Farm Equestrian centre. If you are interested in competing, supporting, horse hire etc get in touch.

Nice double vaults. Height, straight legs, good technique. This is a World Dzhigitovka champion . It’s not hard to climb around a horse, land heavy, have bend legs and messy techniques and call yourself a pro trick rider. What’s skilful is clean work, years of training to achieve the highest standards. This is what we aim for here and admire greatly.

Such a cool photo. jumping and vaulting at the same time. And his legs are still pretty straight 🤘. Carnaval is such a good jumping horse and prefers to be left alone to jump so tricks suit him well. When you have the right team you can really make the dream work and create great shows with new elements and clean good technique. Fedor is one of the best young trick riders I’ve ever met and super talented. Thanks again to for supporting these horses in looking and feeling good to perform their best!

Liverpool International Horse Show. What a show. We brought together the best team of International riders top of their game with riders from Germany, Russia, Australia and the UK. This consisted of a World Dzhigitovka championship- and a silver medalist from Germany . Plus other world championship competitors including 2 bronze female medalists. We brought new tricks not seen in the UK and really upped the standards performing with clean, correct techniques as expected from world class performers. Just loved this show. Thanks to everyone that supported us and helped us achieve this.
