At Riwal, we provide our customers with the highest level of safety with each rental or sale. Our approach to safety is pro-active: whenever and wherever we see a possibility to improve safety or to eliminate potentially unsafe conduct, we act pro-actively to create the safest possible environment for our staff and our customers.
At the beginning of this month, we became a Sustaining Member of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and are the first rental and training company to join the special membership category. Riwal joins Alimak, AON, APEX and Haulotte as IPAF Sustaining Members.
Sustaining Member is a category of IPAF membership designed to recognise and sustain IPAF’s strategic initiatives and overall contribution to improving safety and productivity in powered access worldwide.

🌎 World Earth Day 🌎
Marked by millions around the world, Earth Day is an annual event designed to shine a light on the serious environmental problems we’re facing, from the climate crisis to air pollution and deforestation.
At Riwal, we are forever evolving our economical ways. Sustainability is one of our main focus points and we continue to drive this value, here are just some of the initiatives we have worked on:

Today is World Art Day, we celebrate and promote the development, diffusion and enjoyment of art. Last year, Riwal worked alongside some very talented artists at the Street Art Festival in Rotterdam. We are proud to be a part of the creative designs, helping artists reach maximum heights.

Due to growing demand, we have taken a large delivery of SJ12's & SJ16's this week. Our low mast machines are designed to enhance productivity in the workplace, they are also lightweight which makes them easy to maneuver, use and transport. Vertical mast lifts are mainly used for jobs such as: general repairs, hanging signs, routine maintenance etc.

Happy International Women's Day! We celebrate IWD annually to remind ourselves how far we have come in achieving gender equality and highlight areas where the journey continues. There has always been a stigma around women working in the construction/powered access industry, at Riwal 'Diversity and Equality' is our core value, with this at the forefront - we celebrate women. 38% of our workforce are ambitious women, including two female members of our SLT. Our team is only growing stronger and we will continue to uplift the women of Riwal UK on this journey.

You will be reporting to the Rental Manager on a daily basis
Duties & responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls in a polite, friendly, professional manner, Telephone sales when required.
Responsible for the smooth running of Key Accounts and/or General Orders following all elements of The Riwal Way.
Dealing with commercial team & customer enquiries in a friendly, professional, helpful manner.
Successfully generate or convert enquiries to orders
Record all quotes on to the relevant system, quotes followed up & outcome to be logged correctly.
Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly on Company systems to minimize queries and potential credits. Check daily all hires due to finish- Proactive Off rent calls.
Reserve and enter all machine bookings, Process all fuels checks
File and archiving when required
Liaise with transport, providing full and correct information, Correct input into the Route planning systems.
Provide Holiday cover as & when required for the Transport Desk.
Update relevant spreadsheets, CRMS, (as applicable) daily/weekly and report any concerns to the Hiredesk Team Leader or Rental Desk Fleet Manager.
Taking on necessary training to improve on knowledge.
Ensure all targets and KPI’s set for individuals/Administration teams are met.
Develop and promote the Riwal International Systems, Work with the Riwal International countries to provide timely quotes & international enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner or pass to the relevant UK Special point of contact.
Assist any other departments as and when required including SLT.

You will be working closely with the Tech desk Team, engineers and group I.T. support.
Duties & responsibilities:
Assisting the engineers and the Technical desk to identify parts for machine repairs.
Ensuring all parts are ordered, received in a quick, efficient manner, & allocated to the correct works order, ensuring all relevant parties are informed at all times of status.
Ensure all suppliers meet our ISO Standards.
Working with other group procurement staff to provide best value, maximum cost savings and efficiencies.
Identifying and amending discrepancies in the parts system, including monitoring of stock levels through the engineers app and training accordingly.
Create accurate maintenance spend reports in a timely manner.
Monitoring & amending the UK`s data input to ensure the smooth operation of the
Engineering tasks, first checks, inspections, damages and attachment of photographs on our in-house systems.
Monitor, report and correct discrepancies with our in-house systems
Ensure all lifting equipment is used in a safe manner & escalate to the management team.
Take Responsibility and maintain the UK rental fleet system including Fleet maintenance.
Assisting the technical desk with customer breakdowns, administration and organisation and communicating within the field service engineer teams at all times.
Overseeing the company vehicle tracking system to ensure time of mobile engineering is efficiently met.
