A year has passed and I have been training really well from home. The brief access to the gym last year was quite frustrating so I went back to training from home with my amazing coach. I have made huge progress technique wise, mobility and strength keeping in mind I have very light weights. Two more weeks left of this cycle and I am going back to the barbell. I will probably be frustrated as things will feel different but I am still planning to compete at some point this year or possibly next year so gym routine must come back. I am looking forward though to see how strong I did get.

Oh man, how I miss a good deadlift! I honestly think I will get emotional π when I get my first session in the gym. I will need to remember all the cues and get back into training seriously and hope that I can still compete this year. I think this break has actually helped me get motivated. I never really got to try my one reps( two - three weeks away I was) but I want to work towards higher numbers and get even stronger. I am extremely grateful that I have great coach() and I know she will get me back up to speed in no time.

Trying to have more vegetarian meals and reduce my intake of red meat. Here I made a spinach, pumpkin and ricotta cannelloni. Can't wait to end my workout and tuck in.

Got me one of these. I wanted to get one for a few years. Now that I need to remind myself of muscles, I decided to get one. I am doing this free course today that sent me and I must say I am very involved already. About to finish module 1 today and some stuff is a repeat but a lot of new information as well. Now, how long will this quarantine last as I need to finish at least half of the coursework..?!

1 done, 6 more to go. I initially started with the hardest one but found it very hard getting back into learning. So I am going to get rid of the easy ones and work my way up. Also, the content kind of keeps repeating so hopefully by the time I get back to the hard course, I will already have a good recap of the information. Today I have done the practical pilates workshop. Does that mean that I am going to be teaching pilates? No, not with just a workshop (even though it was rather long and good). Even so, I will stick to what I like and just add this information to my overall knowledge. Now I know what to do when I do attend those pilates classes or just add them to my routine if I find that I need more core work.

My office/study room/home gym at the moment. I have lots of space in the house but I am isolated up here in the loft and I can focus on what I am doing.
So sends us (powerlifting circle) this new program. She says is going to hurt. Yep! It does and it is feeling good? These days my motivation and mood is very low, so a bit of a good workout really helps lift the spirits.
The huge advantage of gyming from your small office space on the loft, is that you can dance your ass off in between sets. Can't do this at the gym. Wonder why!? ππ€

Legs destroyed after literally sitting all day for 2 days playing games. Gotta love a good superset to feel the BURN. I added some stuff because I love painππ.
Tomorrow, after more than a year, I am returning to studying in order to improve my knowledge of training in different fields. Also, the Uni work will start again soon. Have to stay busy and take advantage of all this free time.
I need to learn to engage my lower body doing this. I held it again for a second but lost itπ©.
These days is hard to get motivated to train but today had one of those good days when I bent down and saw a bit of hamstring definition. And that just boosted me right up. We rarely sit and have a look and actually see what is going on in our world. Now we have time. I am so very grateful for having two hands and two legs and be able to do a sport I love, even though I am not actually doing it atm. I am grateful that I can still train, that I can still get that 1.5-2 h per day when I just disconnect and enjoy myself. It has been hard this past week. Yesterday was a rather bad day, but today I woke up early and stayed positive.

One handstand a day. I actually held it for a second. But lots of work to do. I need to gain confidence. Strong I think I am but being on my hands scares me.
