LIVERY SPACES AVAILABLE AT HIGHWOODHALL EQUESTRIAN

Highwoodhall Equestrian is pleased to announce that a limited number of 5-day and 7-day livery spaces, along with two assisted DIY spaces, are now becoming available at our professional and friendly yard in Pimlico, Hemel Hempstead.

Set in a fantastic location with excellent facilities and access to over 150 acres of off-road hacking, Highwoodhall offers a supportive environment for riders and horses of all levels.

Our facilities include:

• Spacious 12x12 internal stables with rubber matting
• Individual turnout for mares and geldings
• Over 150 acres of off-road hacking
• 20x40 floodlit arena with a quality surface
• Full set of show jumps
• Wash bay and solarium
• On-site trainer
• Regular yard farrier

We also offer a range of training and support packages, whether you are looking for additional help with your horse’s schooling, preparing for your first competition, or working towards more ambitious goals.

At Highwoodhall Equestrian, we understand that finding the right yard is about more than just facilities. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming, professional and supportive environment, with the individual care and attention both horses and owners deserve.

A late starter, Stella is now beginning to find her feet in the competition world and is proving herself to be a real little superstar. She has already been to a handful of shows, where she has shown an abundance of scope, bravery and confidence. She is bold to a fence, has a great attitude and genuinely wants to please.

She has endless amounts of scope and, with the right rider and continued education, we feel she has all the ingredients to progress through the levels and become a seriously competitive horse.

On the flat she works nicely, with a lovely natural way of going, while it is over a fence where she really starts to shine. She is bold, brave, careful and athletic, giving you that feeling that there is plenty more to come.

And then there is her breeding…

Stella is exceptionally well bred, carrying some of the most influential showjumping bloodlines.

Her sire line includes Kannan, one of the most proven and influential stallions in modern showjumping, known for producing horses with exceptional scope, athleticism, carefulness and a winning attitude.

Her pedigree also brings together Elmshorn, Voltaire, Lord, Landsieger and Waverveen, giving her a seriously exciting combination of proven performance bloodlines.

This is the sort of pedigree that makes you stop and think about what she could become with time.

We genuinely believe Stella has the potential to be a future superstar. She is still only 5, has plenty of mileage to gain and is at an exciting stage where the right person can take her on, produce her carefully and enjoy watching her develop.

She is being offered for sale only due to time commitments — there is absolutely no fault with this lovely mare.

We are looking for a competent amateur or professional rider who wants a horse to produce and compete, and most importantly, a competitive home where her talent and potential can be nurtured.

♦️ JOHNNY CASH – THE ONE-IN-A-MILLION TYPE

Honestly, you just won’t find many four-year-olds like Johnny Cash.

A beautiful 16.1hh Clydesdale gelding with full breeding, but it’s his exceptional character that really makes him stand out. His age genuinely needs to be put to one side — he is wise beyond his years and one of the most tolerant, genuine horses you could wish to meet.

Johnny has happily had all sorts of different riders on board and takes absolutely everything in his stride. We’ve ridden him backwards, we’ve ridden him with an umbrella, and nothing seems to faze him!

He is easy to do in all ways, incredibly kind, willing and forgiving, with a lovely, genuine nature that is hard to find.

He would be a fantastic asset to a riding school or riding centre, an RDA centre, or for someone wanting a safe, sensible horse with an exceptional temperament. For a novice rider or family home, he really is the sort that gives you confidence and looks after his rider.

His age is just a number — his attitude, temperament and tolerance are something truly special.

Johnny Cash is a proper one-off.
A beautiful boy, a wonderful character, and an absolute pleasure to have around.

⭐ A QUALITY GELDING OF A VERY HARD-TO-FIND TYPE ⭐

9 years old | 16.1/16.2hh | Irish Sport Horse | Gelding

Some horses are smart. Some are talented. Some are genuinely lovely to have around.

Jack is all three. 🤎

A really smart, quality all-rounder with an excellent stamp, Jack is the type of gelding that is becoming increasingly hard to find. He has substance, presence and quality — you feel like you have a proper horse underneath you.

He is a lovely chap to deal with, with very nice manners and a kind, straightforward nature.

Under saddle, Jack is a pleasure to ride. He is not sharp, is nicely responsive off the leg and has a lovely rhythm and way of going. He moves beautifully on the flat and is particularly enjoyable to ride, with the quality and ability to progress in the right hands.

He has a nice, rhythmical jump, giving you a lovely feel to a fence. He has already competed at BE80, producing some lovely dressage scores, as well as enjoying fun rides, and has experience to give him a good foundation for whatever direction his next rider chooses.

Jack is wonderfully versatile.
