NETHRA NAIR PASSES HER SHODAN GRADING
On Thursday evening at the Highfield Community Centre dojo in Hemel Hempstead, Nethra Nair (13) passed her 1st Dan black-belt in real style. Her instructor, Sensei Malcolm Phipps 9th Dan stated, that it was an excellent grading for one so young. Nethra is a credit to the club, the association and her family and trains twice weekly at the Highfield dojo. Anyone interested in training at this club, a club that has been training in Hemel Hempstead since 1977, whether adult or child, please ring HH 266048 or email [email protected] and ask for details.
The successful students were:
1st Dan – Nethra Nair
1st Kyu – Darsh*th Biju and Naitik Biju
5th Kyu – Rani Sarvaiya and Sophie Webster
6th Kyu – Daniel Brooks

All are welcome in a club that has been training in Hemel Hempstead since 1977 and has produced an amazing amount of superb black-belts and instructors, including, World, European and British champions and some that have gone on to form their own associations. Weekly training with Sensei Malcolm Phipps 9th Dan and Sensei Paul Carvell 5th Dan.
