Fun not run 🤩

Imagine how much better the next 10 months will be if you swapped these two words 🙏🏻

Times going to and from school don’t need to be stressful.

Even if everyone else dropping their kids off says it is.

We can actually get to choose the state we bring to these times of the day.

And the easiest way to make it fun?

Just follow their lead 🤩

And the easiest way for it not to be a rush or panic - stop calling it a run 🤦‍♂️

1 month of posting daily ✅

I have never been very consistent on social media.

If truth be told I have always found it a challenge.

But at the start of this month I decided to let go of that belief that social media was ‘hard’ and just commit.

I tried a few different ways of creating content and actually found some joy in the process and posting each day.

Although my ‘highest viewed’ post was a reel I made in 2 mins of the weather in England 🤣🤣🤣

Let’s see how September goes 🙏🏻

Throwback to Burning Man Festival 2018 🔥

This festival was a huge catalyst of change for me.

An opportunity to experience something totally new.

Sometimes stepping out of the ‘normal world’ can do that.

Hopefully you have been able to step out of the norm this summer.

But as we hit September, Virgo season, beginning of Autumn it’s a great chance to re-build routines.

A former rugby player turned yoga teacher now coach ☯️

Yesterday reminded me of the two worlds I have been part of over the last 20 years and almost two seperate lives I have lived.

The sportsman

And

The Yogi

One taught me about performance and achievement.

The other taught me peace peace and non-attachment.

Two different sides of the same coin.

The coin being mastering this human experience.

Now I work to teach and help people have BOTH.

Performance AND Peace

I believe these can co-exist and not oppose one another.

Reaching goals doesn’t need to happen at 100mph 🙏🏻

In 2019 I learned a valuable lesson about hitting goals.

It was that reaching the peak doesn’t need to be fast.

It can slow and steady.

In fact this way of hitting goals uses a totally different skill set.

And a totally different system.

A totally different nervous system.

One that maintains its centre even when challenged to the extreme.

One that is restorative rather than responsive.

One that is calm rather than chaotic.

And more importantly one that doesn’t burn out!

It’s one the many things I will be teaching in the Man, Movement and Magic Community.

Hitting goals gets to be fun and not forceful.
