All of us haven’t been together in a very long time.

My cousin’s wedding brought us together for a beautiful day

Connecting, laughing, chatting and dancing felt so good 🙌🏼

It’s been a while since we’ve all attended a family gathering together, but this was a special one for our family.

Health isn’t just built around the gym, the sports we play, what we eat, breathwork or yoga.

Our nervous system for health needs play, It needs connection, It needs fun.

I know all of this, I talk about it all the time with my clients, yet sometimes I still forget just how good it feels ✌🏼

Thanks cuz Amelia 💜 for bringing us all together 💙

Monday morning swimming session 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I’m back in the pool after a longggggggg time out due to injury, studies and work.

Training should be fun but also challenges you and swimming definitely does this for me!

Swimming can be really easy or it can be brutal and so technical.. you can be thinking about something every stroke to work on!

As a Personal trainer, I would encourage more people to take up swimming as a way of training if you can get to your local pool 👊🏼

Tons of benefits, unless you hate the water then I guess you would ignore this advice 😂

Enjoy another week of training people in all the ways of getting that body moving and grooving.. let’s get it 💪🏼

I think in the past year I have done everything not to have stage 2..

I have needed this operation for 5-6 years now.

I have done the most in terms of rehab and strengthening in the last year but the last 5 years in total.

A couple months back now I had another turn with my knee, I was left not being able to do anything for a few weeks and I decided there and then I need the second stage.
The mental toll around this knee operation has been huge.

I’ve spoke to specialists in their field and it’s the same thing I got told 5 years ago, I need this operation.

I’ve been through it with some highs recently with training making me think I don’t need this operation but have to remind myself of the lows where it affects me a lot.

It’s going to be one hell of a ride through the processes of rehab but I have some amazing practices that I used first time round in my meditation and Breath work, I will be tuning in to these for recovery along with everything else.

Countdown is on and the Prehab continues 💪🏼

Last weeks workshop 🫁

‘Applied Breath Science for Sports Performance’

I delivered a CPD session at a sports performance centre GoPerform working with their team around the science of breathing and how it can be applied within performance, recovery and everyday health.

We looked at the physiology behind the breath rather than simply teaching breathing techniques The relationship between breathing, the nervous system and exercise, CO₂ tolerance and breathing efficiency.

We also explored how different breathing strategies can be used before, during and after training depending on the outcome we’re looking for.

There’s a real place for applied breath science within sporting environments, but also within businesses and teams looking to better understand stress, recovery and performance.

If your team or organisation would benefit from a session like this, get in touch with me or Neupace

Thanks for having me 👏🏼

Consistently at 78kg now.

What’s changed?

I’ve also been consistent with training and food for years now.

I just don’t train 10 hours average cardio a week and I don’t work on a building site anymore!

I honestly recon I use to burn around 5-6k calories with double sessions between working on site all day.

Introduced fish this year on the weekends but still maintain 90% of my diet plant based.

Added in calisthenics start of the year 2 x a week and I might do around 4 hours max of solid endurance work if I’m lucky.

What did your 20s look like..

Barefoot, climbing tress and finding waterfalls clearly from this picture!

There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of all my traveling trips on and off from 21-29 years old, and all the people I met on my solo travels.

Some of the most incredible memories and people, and thanks to IG still in contact with today!

Wouldn’t change one thing, it shaped me into who I am today and I believe I made choices and had my hand forced when life wanted to life. Now I’m in a completely different mindset and feel like I’m starting to thrive in my business in my 30s. I’ve got 1000s of things I want to still do but loving where I am and where I’m going!

The life I have now is so different and beautiful in other ways.

Anyone asks me about traveling and I say 1000% do it while you are young.. I’m telling you getting rich and retiring at 60 wanting to do these things won’t even touch the surface!

Being skint, being so young and adventurous, taking wild choices, working abroad to fund more trips abroad, the endless laughs, parties, ups and downs, seeing things that most people will never see through young eyes and not a care in the world!

Also if ya know me and my family there was no financial support in the slightest haha parents where skint and had 4 mental kids to try and manage.. tough that!
16 years old I worked two jobs on and off until I was 21 and that started everything.

Traveling, the best life degree you could possibly get 😂

BROGA 👊🏼

Now moved to an hour earlier 👌🏼

Wednesday 7.30pm 💪🏼

See it a time to wind down, be off your phone, stretch and just slow down a little and bonus of breathing through your nose.. I know MENTAL as that sounds it’s actually REALLY good for you and many don’t do it especially when we start moving the body OR stressed in the day time!

You learn more than a downward dog as most men can’t even do one anyway, so honestly don’t worry if you can’t even move that well.. just get down and try it out!

If you live in the local area and want to get involved in a mens only class. Message me and come down for a class 🤘🏼
