West Hereford Petanque Club Annual Pairs Championship Finalists Trevor Croxton and Chris Complin

WHPC Annual Doubles Championship today had 14 pairs entered and a great day was had by all, good games, good companionship and good fun.

This recent Karen Allen Memorial Cup event WHPC held on Sunday 5th July was a huge success with 12 teams of three entered. A great days play, delicious BBQ Buffet and money raised on the day for Macmillan Cancer Support was £200 presented by WHPC Chair and event organiser Gemma Allen. A big thankyou to all who attended travelling from the West Midlands, Wales and Hereford.

Friday Social Boules 27 WHPC members out in force enjoying a few games of Boules in the Sunshine. If you are interested in coming along to meet our Club Members and have a go at playing Boules you will be made very welcome we have club boules to use and we meet every Friday and Sunday 12oclock-3.30pm at Broomy Hill in Hinton FC ground opposite The Waterworks Museum.

Here is another Date for your Diary WHPC OPEN DOUBLES next Sunday 24th May after the success of WHPC OPEN Triples event last month Gemma & Trevor are inviting everyone, WHPC Club Members and any other Petanque Players to come and enjoy a day of Petanque. A Breakfast Bap & a Cuppa on arrival, Registration at 9.30am, a Free Raffle Ticket each when you register, Doubles games then a sumptuous BBQ Buffett Followed by Delicious Desserts, Prize Money for the winning pair and runners up. The Raffle Draw, all that for £12 Per Person, Vegetarian options to order, Cold Drinks Tea & Coffee available
